“We happened upon Alex last year and it has become a favorite with us and our family. Italian inspired menu - but I have enjoyed everything I have had - fish steak scallops - I have recently been ordering what ever the daily special is - always a winner! Also perhaps the best brussel sprouts I have ever had. Do not sleep on their wine menu and bar. Really outstanding selection of bourbons and quality cocktails. Don’t let the exterior fool you - this is one of the Houston area hidden gems. Fine dining in a strip mall is Missouri City - yup that is exactly what it is.“

“My husband and I had date night tonight and decided to go to one of our fav spots, again. We've been going to Brandani's for almost 10 years. As always...our experience was superb, so I am taking a moment to give a review:). We're ALWAYS happy. The staff is top notch, the menu is consistently delish, we love the atmosphere, and it's a sweet bonus to be greeted by the Brandani's themselves. Whenever we find ourselves free to have a date night we can always rely on Brandani's for a lovely evening. Well, I somehow bumped my glass of red wine and it splattered all over my face and shirt tonight...but because the Brandani staff is so wonderful and we feel at home, it was easy to laugh off and continue to enjoy our evening together. While the menu appears somewhat limited, they have a large number of daily specials which enhance the overall experience. “Cotto e Crudo is a total hidden gem that grand opened a little bit over a year ago, and it is hands down the best casual Italian spot around. We’ve already been back four times, and every single sandwich we had is amazing in its own way. The Pollo Milanese sandwich is an absolute must-try.
The vibe is super casual and relaxed. You just order at the counter, and they bring the fresh food right out to your table. Inside, they have about 10 tables plus some high tops, and there are even more comfy couches and tables outdoors.
Their homemade bread is always fresh and they use high-quality meats and cheeses. Aside from the sandwiches, their Vodka Pasta is incredible—it is rich and creamy with smoky pancetta. You get huge sandwich portions for a really reasonable price, which is hard to find for food this good. Besides the sandwiches and pasta, they have salads, coffee, pastries, and other beverages. The waiter,Scott S serve the food and after He forget about us totally just to come back asking if we had finished I told him that we had indeed. I heard him saying ,on my back, the words "anger management" referring that to me. I understand the restaurant was crowded but you don't make distinctions with your costumers in spite the color, race or how bad is your English. And , by the way, if I need anger management Scott needs civility classes to learn how to treat people equally“

And the staff were SO friendly and accommodating. Fresh. Authentic. Homemade. I had the spaghetti and meatballs (which were delicious and HUGE) and the fried mozzarella. Only thing is- during the pandemic the quality of the food changed and the portions became smaller. We’ve been having more disappointing experiences than positive lately. We began with the Fritto Misto and Tre Burri as appetizers both were flavorful, perfectly prepared, and a great way to start the meal. For our main entrées, we enjoyed the Mushroom Ravioli, Pollo alla Erba, and the Linguine alla Scampi. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of rich, authentic Italian flavors. To finish on a high note, we had the Moclata Bread Pudding, which was the perfect dessert warm, indulgent, and delicious. The service truly elevated the experience.
