“Lunch at Brandani's is a part of every visit to my family in the Houston area. The service could not be better and the lunch is always delicious. Their home-made soups are perfection, and the desserts are as well. Today's soup was Cauliflower, and I had their Lemon Chess Pie for dessert. So good! I love their Chicken Piccata, so I have it every time, even though there are any number of appealing choices on the menu. I love Brandani's!“
“I didn't get pix of the food unfortunately. I got the simple burger. Was huge and delicious. Has a bite of my wife's pasta, I think it was called Alex's pasta, was also great, the sausage in the dish reminded me of something is get in Chicago. Great food all around.“
“My boyfriend and I came here as a spur of the moment decision tonight. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Manish took care of us tonight and he was AMAZING. He was so helpful and informative and never made us feel rushed. He was very attentive and gave us so much information about the different selections. We ordered the herbed feta and a bottle of red wine and they paired perfectly together. This was the best date we have ever had. The atmosphere was romantic and the food and wine were delicious. I would absolutely reccomend this place to anyone looking for a fun night out.“
“DONT LET THE REVIEWS SCARE YOU. It’s definitely worth a try. After reading reviews I nervously walked up to the establishment thinking I would be turned around at the door. That was not the case I was immediately greeted by two gentlemen, standing by the door. When I walked in, I told the hostess, whose party I was with, and I was escorted to my table. (So I wouldn’t get lost?) I ordered lamb chops my cousin ordered salmon and fish. We got the brussels sprouts and potatoes. Always said I didn’t like brussels sprouts, but I will eat those every day. So good! The lamb chops were amazing. The fish and salmon were also good. I enjoyed my drink. (It could have been a little stronger) for the price. All of the dishes were great. Not a single complaint. The service was good but not worth 20% honestly that’s why I gave 4⭐️. But all in all it was a great experience.Parking: I parked to the left of the building in a parking lot.“
“The best place! We arrived late to our reservation and were treated like we got there on time! The hostess were very welcoming and nice. After being seated our waiter was nothing less than amazing. He was very attentive, answered all our questions and make dining suggestions. 10 out of 10 would recommend“
“The service was excellent! The food was good. However, the portions are very small. My wife ordered the mahi. It could not have been bigger that 5 oz. My kids (17 and 20) all wanted steak. But, a simple 8oz filet was $83 vs, a standard $50 at Flemmings or Ruth's Chris. Therefore I decided to share the 22 oz Waugh ribeye with my kids. It was the only economical choice. It was not enough food. On the plus side. The waiter was excellent!“
“I went to Little’s Oyster Bar for my birthday celebrated. I enjoyed the blue crab oysters, broccolini, and grouper. The waitstaff was very attentive to most of our needs. I would recommend this for a special occasion.Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian“
“TLDR: The slow service impaired the dining experience, and the passive aggressive gratuity procedure degrades the image of this restaurant. We just went here for a nice family dinner. They have a good variety of food choices. The tortilla soup and cioppino were both excellent, as were the confit potatoes. The strip steak had good flavor. The seafood beignets was unique but nothing spectacular and the roasted cauliflower was just ok. As for the desserts, the blockbuster was pretty good. The carrot cake was nothing special. What really needs improvement is the service. The waiter was slow in coming for each step of the ordering process and dining experience, and we had to flag him down twice. Also, the soup i ordered arrived at the same time as my entree, instead of being brought out with the appetizers. At least the lady that filled our water was always prompt. We ended up spending 2.5 hrs there due to slow service. Then, a 20% tip was printed onto our bill. At the bottom of the check (not disclosed on the menu), it says that a “suggested gratuity” is added for all parties of 8 or more, but we only had 5 people in our party (2 adults and 3 kids). It also says, the guest has "right to determine the final amount, free from compulsion or negotiation,” yet there it is printed onto the bill, and another line labeled “Additional Tip” below. For the level of service we received, I would’ve tipped 18% max. While I certainly could have argued it, the dinner took so long i just wanted to leave. It wasn’t much extra money, but of course that is not the point, and, it left me with a negative impression of this establishment.Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu“
“This is my go to spot for when I don’t feel like doing work at a coffee shop. I usually just sit at the bar. Lily, my bartender was great! While I’m working I really appreciated her keeping the area tidy. The drinks were fantastic and the food came out fast. Go check out Flight Club!“
“The theme goes so well with the food and atmosphere. It has the appearance of one of those neon light car diners with a clean minimalist feel.I ordered the patty melt with everything. From the perfectly toasted buttery bread , the smash burger style patties , and the special Smack sauced blendig with the melted cheese..... ?. It was quite delicious, definitely going back for more. The parmesan fries were good too with their ranch sauce. Nice and crispy. The last thing is the lady working there named Miriam( The sista behind the counter with the blue glasses). She gave over the top customer service. She took the oder and went to the back to prep, then served it. She also made sure we were comfortable and even asked if everything was to my parties liking. I'd recommend this place especially if your a fan of smash burgers. Tips are welcome too .“
“We have been coming to Gratify for years, always amazing food, drinks, service and vibes! But Stephanie Benitez truly made our experience with the Big Vibe Group memorable! We spoke with her over my birthday brunch and she was so informative, welcoming and sweet! I told her about my family birthday dinner at Coppa Osteria the next night and she ensured she would see us over there as well. She made sure we got everything we wanted, and even hand delivered my short rib ragu pasta from next door!! The customer service and experience is always amazing and she made my birthday dinner special!“
“I have been to this place twice in the last month, once as a speaker and second time as a guest with three other professional colleagues. The place is great, especially for talks and presentations, the A/V setup is very professional, you can cutoff the overhead music, and do very impressive screen projections . The waiters and waitresses are excellent friendly folks and provide great service .“
“Recently got invited to b' day dinner there and gosh the food was good. Perhaps I was hungry but I felt the portions (rice) was small, but the lamb with combo basmatti rice with grilled tomatoes was heavenly ?. They substituted the original onions with carrots, which were grilled, and it paired so well!!“
“Excellent! There are many great restaurants in Houston, but few offer truly original dishes without trying too hard. Riel finds the right balance. All dishes were original but so tasty and well presented. This is on my Houston short list. A few comments, not negative but for consideration. - The menu is relatively limited, but offset by the fact that every dish we tried (which were many) were outstanding. - Several of the dishes were pretty spicy which was perfect for my taste, but may not be for everyone. - Concerning the staff. They were efficient and courteous, but I really don't like being served by women with big rings in their noses.“
“Came here for a Saturday brunch and there was surprisingly no wait, we were seated quickly and attended too quickly. The place is huge with plenty of seating inside and out. The vibe is fresh and clean. The waitress was super attentive and nice and welcoming. The drinks did take a bit to come out but the food was very fast which surprised us lol everything was delicious and fresh. Definitely recommend.“
“Service was great. The atmosphere was energetic. I ordered the ribs and umami fries. My first plate of ribs was cold. The manager, Nemo, gladly returned them to the kitchen and brought out a fresh, hot plate. She brought over dessert to sweeten the experience. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.“
“I visited Juliet with my best friend for my birthday and I had a great experience. The food was amazing, and the customer service we received from Dwayne at the bar was exceptional! He was very attentive and took great care of us. Thank you, Dwayne!Parking was valet only, just FYI.“
“The food at Balboa is excellent. I highly recommend the seafood cocktail as a starter. We later enjoyed multiple sushi rolls and a pineapple upside down cake as dessert. Everything was fantastic and we enjoyed the ambience as well. I would absolutely come back here.“
“This place is adorable, perfect for brunch or to meet up with friends and just mingle, it has a nice selection of plants and the drinks are on point. I tried the veggie burger ? it was a total mouth orgasm.Parking: Parking is limited, and you may have to park somewhere else and walk to location.“
“Excellent vibes and atmosphere, it was a large restaurant but with the setup it felt like each table was secluded and private. The food was good, tasted good, but a bit eclectic for my liking (the waffles had an odd pumpkin flavor to them, reminding me why I prefer Christmas to Halloween).Staff was kind, restaurants were clean. You can’t go wrong here.“
“Great neighborhood restaurant! Lot's of different options in the menu and drinks. You can book a table if you want but we went on a Sunday night and there were plenty of free tables. The service was kinda challenging, not sure if this happened because we were outside and there were not so many customers at the time. The food is mainly responsibly grown and organic, so prices are a bit higher and portions are enough. Try the flourless chocolate cake!“
“First time at Roost and we loved it! The fried cauli was amazing, but we expected that as it had apparently been a staple menu item for 12 years. Spicy lamb kabob was super tender and yummy. I will say my partner ordered the chicken and she was let down with her meal, there was some small bones in the chicken and she said our meals looked and tasted a lot better. Overall we would go back and id highly encourage this place for the intimate atmosphere and farm to table cuisine.“
“Our trip was amazing. My husband treated me to a Good Friday Lunch. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was great. Aaron came to our table and offered polite conversation and Whiskey Cake. The cake was incredible. The house made whipped cream is always an added bonus. It’s gluttonous, but go for it. You can always eat a salad tomorrow. ?Come out and visit. Make sure you meet Aaron. He’s awesome!“
“Y’all this food IS SO GOOD! Might be the BEST place to eat in Houston. I don’t want to post a review because it’s not widely known and it’s kind of difficult to find, but man I can’t keep a secret this good. Mac & cheese is my favorite food and I always get it at every restaurant I go to, I ordered the chicken sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes and a side of mac & cheese just to try it, and I was blown away by how incredible everything tasted. I don’t like to waste money so I do not mind spending money on a place that deserves it! If you want something really good to eat, and you have a lunch break, this is one of the best places to go! Service can be slow sometimes, that’s why I docked a star but I really don’t care, I waited for 10 mins bc that’s how good the food is lol“
“Stopped by as I was in the area. Pretty empty for a Friday night, but it was approaching 10 pm. Typical stainless steel, cold, and sterile decor that's likely chosen as it's easy to clean. Service was fast, although they were out of my first choice of fish and chips. Really good guacamole, and I liked the Mexi-Cali taco. The pork on the Korean Fried Rice was a blob of shredded meat with a very off-putting texture. Did not enjoy that. Haven't been to VT in a while, and this was worth the visit. Yes, there's better, and it's not authentic, but it serves it purpose.“
“Del Vista is one of my favorite restaurants in Houston! My order:Apps: meatballs and musselsSalad: Caesar (must have)Dinner: The Big Fat Chicken Breast with sautéd spinach - this chicken breast is the biggest thing I have ever seen. (Also a must have dish)I would give this place a 100 stars if I could.Shout out to the amazing staff and food!Edwin is amazing and runs a great establishment.“
“Absolutely love BellaGreen! A plethora of options; especially healthy ones! The pizza is AMAZING! So delicious! Ingredients taste so fresh! I enjoy eating here for multiple different food options!Vegetarian options: A multitude of vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Great for dietary options!“
“arrived on time, table was ready, very nice waiter. all went very well!! the only issue on why we may never go back was the noise. lots of families with lots of very wild and noisy kids. some running around, some just screaming parents not in control. was not an enjoyable evening. maybe go back at a later time (730pm+) would be a smarter thing to do. thx“
“Since moving back to Houston I was looking for an authentic Ghanaian restaurant with great vibes, and when I heard of Delights Ghana Cuisine, I was eager to try it. When I went there it felt like the motherland and the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL and my favorite part was the food of course! I tried their Jollof and Waakye and it amazing! This has definitely been my go to restaurant when I’m looking for authentic Ghanaian food.“
“I had the traditional breakfast and a mimosa. The food was delicious and fresh. The bacon was really good. Cute atmosphere with inside and covered outside options. The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable and had a good variety of menu items. Definitely will come back!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu and it's kid friendly atmosphere.“
“There’s an awesome pair (man and woman) that work here. They are clearly ownership / managers. How do I know? Next level, extremely attentive and helpful. Interacting with every guest and asking about their experience. Also doing the basic work like picking up plates, serving, etc. — these two elevated the entire dining experience. Very solid food as usual. Diverse menu with something for everybody.“
“(Delivery) First time for lunch, easy to use website, ordered Hot Chicken with Hummus- brown rice option, excellent sauces, super fast (real-time tracking!) delivery. Couldn't be more pleased.(Update) Third day in a row; Crudité with Hummus in addition to my Chicken Bowl, and Brussels Sprouts as well. Perfect portions and unbelievable fresh. My favourite take-away in Post Oak. Consistently excellent. Thanks!“
“My husband and I ordered dinner through DoorDash tonight. I’ve been craving the Asian Chicken Salad and posole. He had the seafood pasta. Unfortunately, the chicken was left off my salad. I was so disappointed. Everything else was wonderful, and I understand mistakes happen so I’m rating a 4. By the time we received the order and opened it, the restaurant had closed. A note to those that pack the orders to check them extra carefully. An Asian Chicken Salad without your delicious chicken is just, a salad. We’ll try again another day.“
“I went for a long swim and decided I need some Thai. We ordered Tom Yum Gai, spring rolls, and Pad See Ew. The Pad See Ew was delicious, very flavorful and full of pepper. The spring rolls were on point! Lastly, the Tom Yum Gai was very hot and the ginger really stood out. The service was great, and it had a cute atmosphere! I am picky about but I would say this is the best Thai on this side of Houston.“
“At Velvet Taco, Nay delivered an outstanding dining experience with her exceptional service. From her warm welcome to her attentive care throughout the meal, Nay went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Her genuine enthusiasm and dedication truly enhanced our dining experience. Combined with the delicious food and inviting atmosphere, Nay's service made our visit to Velvet Taco truly memorable. We'll definitely be returning, thanks in large part to Nay's outstanding hospitality“
“I’m writing this review as I sit here for the 7th hour that I’ve been at this establishment, and I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite spots in Houston. The fruit tartine, per the recommendation of our amazing host, Stout, was absolutely divine. Then, we had the steak and eggs and the breakfast burrito, which were both very delicious. We had a few mimosas, and they were all great - from guava to blood orange to passionfruit. But above all, the customer service was more than we could have asked for. Stout and his staff (especially Alex and Trung) were beyond amazing. We were very well taken care of and valued. They treated us like family, and we don’t take that for granted. You won’t go wrong by coming here. Your bellies and hearts will be happy ♥️“
“It is a very nice place, I could say fancy, very suitable for making reviews, or uploading content to Instagram or Tik Tok, they have a Hookah service, the food is a different concept and if you like to try new flavors you can go there. I loved the fact that they had colorful NON-alcoholic drinks, they tasted delicious. That place is highly recommended to me.“
“So we went to the Toasted Coconut last week for a late lunch and it was fantastic. For starters, we had the fried dumplings in chili oil, which are my favorites, and they were simply sublime. For main dishes, we had the cheeseburger, the Og fried chicken nuggets, and their Baja mussels with a side of French fries. The hamburger was spectacular ultra juicy and gooey, with just the right amount of aioli to bring it all together. While the mussels were suculent and perfectly cooked and served in their thick creamy broth, which is fantastic for mopping with their homemade focaccia bread or with any leftover fries or naan bread. In my opinion, these are some of the best mussels in Houston and well worth a trip to the restaurant just to try them out.But the pièce de résistance today was the OG style chicken nuggets. They were simply to die for! They were super crunchy yet ultra juicy while the chili sauce was hot and tangy but not overly, so bringing it all together perfectly into small bites of heavenly goodness. As for drinks, we had gin and tonics and cokes, which were just the right combination for our feast. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for great food and good ambiance for either dinner or late lunch. All their food is fantastic and their staff is magnificent.“
“These people are amazing!!! I lost my wallet 2 YEARS ago on Nov 23, 2022, and they called me on Apr 9, 2024 and said they found it!!!! Unbelievable. We went to pick it up and eat dinner, and because I was inconvenienced they gave ME a free appetizer and dessert!! Customer service beyond!!!!!! I am so big on customer service and had lost faith in the service industry until Christian called me and said that they have been trying to find me. All my money, credit cards, license, insurance cards, etc was all intact. They are #1 in my book!! Katelyn was the manager on duty and she was simply AWESOME!!! Moxie's is my new favorite restaurant!! ?“
“We took 4 of our grandchildren to dinner and it was amazing. The food was fabulous, service was excellent and we were able to reminisce about when they were little and had no trouble hearing each other. We will definitely be back and will recommend Liberty Kitchen to all our friends.“
“cute date night spot! I love the interior and the service was great. we were checked on frequently.I ordered the cajun steak with mac and cheese. I loved the steak but the mac and cheese wasn’t incredible.my bf tried the filet and it was not as soft as other filets we’ve tried. the menu advises they have a different style of cooking the meat so maybe that was it but we didn’t live it.the appetizer was the hong kong shrimp and I enjoyed that a lot.for dessert we tried the chocolate cake slice and that was redeeming for my bf. he loved it. it was moist and decadent.“
“Located right next to a 24 Hour Fitness, the food is perfect for someone on a diet but who also wants something delicious as well. You can tell they go the lengths in their ingredients to make things healthy and taste good too. It's cool they have little barbells in the seats.Service is also fast and prices are fair. I usually get the Rocky Balboa wrap or the Turkey Meatball Parmesan wrap.“
“After being a big fan of Cafe Annie for decades we decided to try Turners. The service is exceptional and the food was excellent. The noise level is such that you cannot carry on a decent conversation: the tables are big so you have to lean over the table and literally scream to have a conversation. I found this quite unacceptable. Is it worth the price? I will leave that for others to decide but I think we will stick to the upstairs and Annie Cafe which is a bit more casual, better value for the money, and you can actually talk without blowing your lungs out. Turners is cozy, the tables are close together and it's dark: I kind of the like the openness of Annie Cafe a bit better, sorry. It was an excellent opportunity and I'm sure we'll be back at some point in the future, but I think upstairs in Annie Cafe is simply more relaxing and fun.“
“Hands down the food is delicious and interesting. We had good service, no one came around too often, just right. Definitely try the dilly bread! The tots were tasty, and my group really enjoyed the carrots, olives, Charlie and the pasta factory, nonno’s pasta, and quite a few cocktails! Music is fun, good volume, lights are slightly dim, allowing easy conversation without having to speak loudly. Definitely recommend! Oh, and even if you’re full, you should try the olive oil cake!!Vegetarian options: There are certainly enough options for a vegetarian like meParking: Either in the small lot or on the street in a decent neighborhood.“
“Always enjoy dining here. The Artichoke appetizer is one of the BEST I've ever had and driving forces to get me there often. The wait staff was on it last night!! So kind and thoughtful as we enjoyed our intimate dinner for two. Really love this local feel, upscale establishment. Definitely a must on our list of places to go.“
“We have been coming here for years - maybe 25? It is a small, neighborhood restaurant with very warm service. Hussein the owner is always there and always greets you like a long time friend. The bar service is great and the food is always really good. And if you want something off the menu it is almost impossible to stump them.“
“Food was delicious! Anthony our server was great! We did have to wait over 20min for our table even though we had a reservation but it was not their fault. The place is small and it was busy. The biscuits and pork belly are a must for the appetizers! The spicy cucumber margarita was exceptionally tasty too!“
“The schnitzel and spaetzle are DELICIOUS here. Consistently good. The owner was also very accommodating also about us bringing a pup we are babysitting out onto the patio on our most recent visit. We are new to the area and delighted to discover a great local business.Update 4 years later: still delicious. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of the food here. Tried the weisswurst this evening. Packed with flavor on a crisp fresh bun. The dill spätzle is still my favorite. It's an unassuming spot, this place, but give it a shot.“
“You probably don't need my review to tell you this is a great spot for grub in Houston. I ordered ahead in the car as we were on our way to the museum. We swung by and picked up two chicken sandwiches & two drinks. A little confusion on my part as there was only one drink sitting on the counter. The other one was a bottled drink tucked away inside. So we asked for our "second drink," which the lady kindly provided us. When we realized our mistake, she told us to just keep the extra drink. That kind of, "we're not mad at you for your dumb mistake" reaction makes you soooo happy as a faulty customer. But the food itself was excellent. We highly recommend the Crunchy Chicken Sandwich. It's was huge! We both could have just shared one. But I'm happy to have leftovers. Oh! Also! The potato salad side was phenomenal. You know that mystardy, mayonnaisey potato salad stuff that you hate? It's not that. It's something reeeally freaking good. But I can't identify the ingredients. Damn it. Also, the blackberry green tea was great, with three Splendas mixed in. I'm so happy it was sugar-free as we try to avoid added sugars. (We should've just ordered two of those to begin with. Sorry guys.) Delicious!“
“This place is special. Innovative approach to gourmet sandwiches. Very tasty food, exceptional across the board! Sliders, Reuben's and more amaze. Prices are pretty standard for this type of food. The service is top notch, too. The downside is over the top butter, cream (high fat) in everything. Some of the tastiest potato salads ever, but could never get more than a couple bites down. Would recommend taste testing dishes with a cross section of customers by age, gender, etc. and take their suggestions seriously.“
