“This is one of the BEST restaurants I have eaten at. First, Cori our server is awesome! She is attentive, responsive, knowledgeable, and super friendly! The food is amazing! “I love this restaurant. The food is delicious. My favorite dish is the cauliflower wings. But it seems that the amount of cauliflower wings that you get is less than in the past for the same price. I used to eat and get full and have some to take home. Or if take out- the box would be full with no space in the box. Not that way now. I would rather pay a little more for the previous amount instead of less for the current price. That is the reason for the 4 star rating.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Best Landing Ever — 10/10 Would Fall Again” So there I was, minding my own business, enjoying the in-flight peanuts at 35,000 feet, when gravity decided to spice things up. One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? Only if you enjoy defying physics and good flavor. 🔥🍗 “Houston Hot Chicken — where the food slaps harder than the landing.”“

“We have a great experience every time we dine at Black Walnut in Rice Village. The food is consistently delicious, and the staff is always helpful and genuinely pleasant. We can honestly say we’ve never had a poor experience at this location. The menu has something for everyone, making it an easy favorite for a casual breakfast, lunch, or dinner.“

I believe "Bussin" is the new term. Nashville hot seasoning is delicious, flavorful with a kick.
Chicken & waffles (2 large juicy & crispy) chicken tenders & 1 waffles cut in quarters are comfortable meals. The waffles are soft yet crispy.

“Drinks are the best, but I loved the beer selection. I was able to sample several. I loved the meatball pizza from a brick oven. Awesome crust. Place was pretty busy, but I typically sit at the bar anyway. Highly recommended as it's hard to get great food in that area.“

“We had brunch today with friends. We had delicious food and great service. Our group ordered the club sandwich, pizza, the Gyro, and the chicken biscuit. Everything was delicious and to top it off our server Nikki was fabulous!“
