One wrong step, and boom — I’m free-falling like a majestic bowling ball with commitment issues. No parachute, no plan, just pure aerodynamic panic. As I plummeted through the clouds, I saw my life flash before my eyes — mostly memories of me saying, “It’s fine, I’ve got this.” Spoiler alert: I did not got this. Then fate intervened. Out of all the places on Earth, I crash-landed right through the roof of Houston Hot Chicken like a meteor made of confusion and regret. I didn’t so much land as I reintroduced myself to the concept of gravity. Tables flipped, fries flew, and someone screamed, “Bro just DoorDashed himself!” The employees, absolute legends, didn’t even flinch. One handed me a napkin, another asked, “You want that mild or extra hot?” My spine said mild, but my soul said let’s make it worth it. I left that restaurant smelling like jet fuel and Nashville seasoning, but with a heart full of gratitude and a stomach full of dangerously good chicken. Final verdict: Service — 10/10 (They didn’t call an ambulance until I finished eating.) Atmosphere — explosive. Food — so hot it resurrected me. Would recommend? “This is our go-to place when we want fresh, delicious, healthy food options. We've visited or ordered takeout roughly 30-32 times over the past 3 years, and regardless of what we order, we're always pleasantly surprised. Portions are generous. Seasonal menu options are excellent. Pricing is good for the high quality of ingredients. My go-to's are the salads (I've had them all), my husband loves the burgers and spaghetti squash bolognese, and the carrot cake and domino cake are both a hit.“

Chicken & waffles (2 large juicy & crispy) chicken tenders & 1 waffles cut in quarters are comfortable meals. The waffles are soft yet crispy.

“Drinks are the best, but I loved the beer selection. I was able to sample several. I loved the meatball pizza from a brick oven. Awesome crust. Place was pretty busy, but I typically sit at the bar anyway. Highly recommended as it's hard to get great food in that area.“
