Roma Reviews
The flavor of the tomato sauce in the dishes I had was incredible. There are few restaurants that cook their dishes to perfection and this is one of them. Seriously, I wouldn’t change a thing about any of the recipes. Masterpiece cuisine at Roma. The flavors in the food here are so delightful. If you’re reading this, GO. Don’t think, just go now.
This restaurant is in an unbeatable location in the River Oaks area and has quickly become one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Houston. It's a relatively small place, with around 14 tables inside, which gives it a very cozy and intimate atmosphere. They also have an outdoor patio with additional seating, making it a great option when the weather is nice. Another great convenience is that they offer valet parking, making the visit even more enjoyable.

My wife and I stopped by last night at 9:30 pm, they were cleaning up ready to close at 10:00 pm but welcomed us inside and served us the best wine and food we ever had. After dinner, they served us limoncello, which was fabulous by the way, and also insisted we stay for desert, even though I felt that they were tired and ready to go home, we had the best cannoli ever! The owner, manager and servers were all very professional and extremely nice! Roma is now my favorite Italian...read full review

Roma restaurant offers an authentic Italian experience with a quaint atmosphere and exceptional service. The menu features delightful dishes such as calamari, lasagna, lamb shank, and cacio e pepe, all reminiscent of Italy. The Seafood Salad starter is large and excellent, and the Burrata with very sweet tomatoes is also highly praised. The starters are so generous that many guests opt for small pasta dishes as their main course, which are very good. The restaurant's menu is well arranged, not bloated, offering excellent choices in pasta, fish, poultry, and meat. The frito misto is particularly recommended. With a great wine menu that covers all price points, including a very good Sicilian white wine, Roma is a must-visit for a wonderful dining experience. The service is attentive without being overbearing, and the overall balance of excellent dishes, ambience, and value makes it one of the finest Italian restaurants in the area.
Recent customer reviews praise the wonderful dining experience at Roma. Guests enjoyed the Burrata, meatballs, pasta limone, pasta pesto, salmon, and short ribs, all described as delicious. The service was great, and the owners were very friendly. The restaurant offers exceptional value, especially with the HRW menu. Customers recommend not skipping the meatballs, calamari fritters, pasta alla norma, and short ribs. Customers also enjoyed the Cacio e Pepe prepared tableside, the fresh catch fish dish, and the homemade limoncello.
