I just so happened to move to League City and pass the Blue Bell distribution branch here in Alvin, TX. I called them, and everyone was super nice. “EVERYTHING is fantastic here! My parents were married in 1963 in Freeport. They honeymooned in Galveston. They drove through Alvin and stopped at Dairyland on the way. Since they were teenagers they drank Cherry Dr Pepper and they said Dairyland has 1 of the best! We moved to Alvin in 1977. I have been going to Dairyland and eating and hanging out for the last 45 yrs!! I have had everything on the menu and it’s all good! There is not a teenager from Alvin that hasn’t eaten and hung out here since 1960!!“

“The absolute best ice cream I’ve ever had. My fiancé and I are on keto, so we got the keto banana ice cream. I’d suggest leaving it out for 20-30 minutes. It has the BEST texture and flavor! I have also tried the lavender and blueberry cheesecake ice cream, and the lavender is hands down the best ice cream I’ve ever had in my life. The owners are incredibly kind, and very knowledgeable about their ice cream. I also noticed when my daughter (3) had her blueberry cheesecake ice cream, she didn’t act totally nuts like she usually does with sugar. Love it!!!“

The men's restroom was very clean. The restaurant was pretty quiet and clean. It's surprising how this business still survives opposite a famous BBQ restaurant.
