Food was good, but the fish was cut in half from top to bottom and the (blood line) dark meat was still there. This dark meat has a very fishy flavor.

Superb sauce! We came in and it was surprisingly empty. Not sure why because this was some of the best boiled seafood we’ve had. We each got the boil bag with a pound of shrimp and the crab legs, corn and potatoes. We both kept saying how amazing the sauce was! And the shrimp kept on coming out of the bag! Huge servings!! We will be back! We were so stuffed we had to take the dessert to go!

We have been going to The Cajun Shack for over 5 years. Never had an issue until today. After our issue I called to see if their ingredients have changed recently. The nice lady that answered the phone said, “I’m not sure but we have been getting told that the food is spicier than normal”. Then said she was going to talk to someone for me to hold on. We typically get shrimp/crawfish/crab legs with all three flavors and “spicy”. I will say the only “spicy” food I eat is the Cajun shacks seafood boil. We’ve never had an issue before. Then another lady gets on the phone and has an attitude from the start. She says nothing has changed and they don’t even have the ingredients to make extra spicy right now. I thought that was weird because the girl before her said they have indeed been getting notified that it wasn’t the same. I wasn’t looking for compensation but don’t sit here and go against EVERYTHING the lady I talked to before you said. Gross customer service. We will be looking for a new crawfish restaurant after this encounter.
