Firehouse Subs Alvin Crossing

1st time. Never again.
1 girl, all alone with attitude. Nobody there but me and was Told there was a wait, she had to do togo orders. After 5 minutes another girl, same problem. I ordered hot italian. A couple come in and order and pay. After they've been waiting told no au jus and only wheat bread no white. They demand refund. I get my sandwich, Cold, mostly mayo barely anything else.
Then to listen to those girls just gossiping. Terrible service Terrible sandwich Terrible value, the smallest combo $11.49.

Walked in didn't even get a hello. Went to use the restroom after ordering my food and no soap in the restrooms. I asked for soap and they didn't know where any was.... that is disgusting. I dont even want to leave a one star but it doesn't give the option to go lower than one.

We went inside and there was nobody there. This was after an hour that it was open. There was no one in the front as we approached the counter. There was a girl who is very friendly and welcomed us to the place after we placed our order we had to stand and wait for the machine for the credit card to take affect. She did apologize and forgot to turn it on when they entered the store as we went to sit down to get our drinks before that the machine was giving out flat drinks, there was no carbonation in any of them we tried several ones. She did mention that her manager had come in the day before and changed out to the machine. We could not get any sodas. We had to go to the tea machine and drink the tea. The tea was very good just not what we decided that we wanted. I don’t believe we will be coming back to this location because we specifically wanted to come here, we drove from Lamarque. After all of this and complaining about the sodas, the girl even said she was sorry she forgot to call our name and our food was sitting up at the counter. lol oooops

The young ladies working there today are highly unprofessional and dirty. They talked loudly about their drama and some dude being in jail. They didn’t put Mayo on my sandwich which is all I asked for besides meat (which was giant thick slices) and cheese, so when I asked for Mayo they both rolled their eyes and she slopped in a giant portion of it in a soup cup to hand to me. We then continued to listen to their crazy stories while they made some other sandwiches. One girl walked to talk to another customer with her gloves on, touched her screen and touched the customers phone and didn’t change her gloves when she went back to the food. We also watched them go outside to smoke and none of them washed their hands when they came back in. I couldn’t even eat my sandwich, no telling what else they do in there without washing their hands.

Honestly just close, it’s obvious the owners don’t care.

Sandwich was missing cheese, tomato, onion, mustard, lettuce. I got ham and turkey and mayo. Just lost our business. This was on Sunday night. 2 girls working and obviously don't know how to make sandwiches. We have always had wonderful meals but today it looks like subway will get our business once again.

I was the only person in the store, took them 5 minutes to take my order, but I still had to wait for one of the girls to go fill up her drink before she took my order.. mind you no one was in there.. waited 10 minutes and watched them turn multiple people away saying they aren't going to make their order in a reasonable time, then I heard them talking about finally starting my order. I told them not to worry about it and asked for a refund, wasn't ugly or rude but this place is a disgrace to firehouses, they need some better employees

Worst service I have ever had. The two young women working there were horrible. First time here and it will be last. 12/22

The food isn’t bad but the service is horrible. If you aren’t waiting 5-10 minutes at the drive through just for them to answer they’re inside barely paying attention and giving bad customer service. They tend to mess up a lot too on online orders

This location always seems to out of something. This time there was no cheese, no lids for the cups, they only had one size of cups, chip assortment was minimal... I'd rather drive out of my way to a different location other than go to this location.

Although the sandwiches were great and made to our order I was missing the Mac and cheese and they were out of the drinks we ordered. They did let me get the fountain drinks which was great just sad I didn't get to try my Mac and cheese 😑

I’m so fed up with this place! I used to love firehouse but today they disappointed me.. today I walk in and order the hook in ladder combo but it seems the girls just look like they don’t wanna be their in gave terrible attitude towards me when I ask if they could add pastrami, they took 20 minutes in their was only two people inside in got my order finally in it was wrong! No tomato, no lettuce in it was wheat bread instead of white… I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

I feel sorry for the owner as the location is terrible. Last night I got a NY Steamer which is normally great but the meat was like rubber. In the past a few times I have gotten corned beef and pastrami that was way too chewy at deli counters and I never had a problem at Firehouse subs with this sandwich before so this may have been a one off.
My problem is the help seems to be unmotivated and lackadaisacal. The place isn't dirty but it sure isn't spotless. Oftentimes my food is barely warm, not hot. Even though a live a couple miles away and have 5 traffic lights to get there,rarely is my foor ready when I get there

Online order hadn't even been printed out when I got there, I was the only customer. Out of several things including large cups that I paid for. Coke machine had very few options, no tea made... not the first time. It really depends on who's on shift.

This place will rip you off. I am a disabled person. I never received my refund and never received my food. I contacted the store to talk to a manager and was told they were hardly ever there and didn't know when one would show up. I contacted them through email and was told they couldn't do anything because its up to that store if they want to give refund or not. So there is no food service manager on duty at all times like there supposed to be. The place is unsanitary because of not following health codes obviously. Beware when ordering. I can't get anyone to call or tell me anything. This place doesn't care about anyone. I live on a fixed income and treat myself every now and then. They don't care I'm disabled. I have the emails to prove and the recorded phone conversations with the employee who told me about the managers not being present. I will be calling the health department to look into this matter. I used to be a food service manager and know what to look for. Stay away from this place. Unless you want to get sick.
