Our server, the quality of the meal, the service, the speedy delivery of our ordered items, all of it, top notch. This ain't our first time here, nor our second, third, or fourth, and it ain't going to be our last either.Some of the best chicken fried steak around, great breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. My husband and I came here for dinner on a Friday night probably about an hour before closing. Because it was the last hour, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but it was slow service and bland and greasy food. My husband said his potato wasn't seasoned at all and my corned beef cabbage was not appealing enough to take the extra home. The vibe was fine, but we'd rather drive a little farther and enjoy our food more.

The Alvin location is to small, feels claustrophobic. - if you go try to go to the League City location.. it's huge. And food taste better.But I will say our waitress was super sweet and helpful lots of patients.Food was mediocre. But you get a lot for your money. Everything is Huge.Chicken fried steak covers the plate, eggs, hash browns, pancakes.. all huge..

The food is okay, it's been better but also has been worse. It is Easter but still, it was soooooo packed and this may be the cause of this but it seemed like it was too much for the employees, and yet I don't get it. We were missing things, response times and requests took forever to get handled. Got a couple things wrong. It seemed like they needed more people, and yet, there were so many employees not doing anything or just walking around, as we watched them. I don't understand why but whatever. This Easter experience wasn't great, 4th time here, 2nd worse of the 4.

We ordered the hamburger steak with gravy and the chicken fried steak. Each meal came with three sides. Portions are large. Dinner rolls and cornbread are brought to the table. Lots of food. Great price!
