I had a bad experience, most of the time I go the cashiers serve very poorly.
They have good Hispanic meat, products, and deserts. I love the chocoflan, is a chocolate cake with flan. I also like the beef soup they give you rice tortillas and sauce with your order. Great, when you are sick and need homemade soup!
Variety of products and at a good price, very friendly employees
I only ordered the carnitas this last time but I always go to the meat market for grilling. Their marinade is *chef's kiss*!
The best Mexican products
Paid 11 dollars for some busted eggs. Place was crowded and filthy. There was flys and gnats near the fruit. Really not understanding why this place is selling eggs 35% above market price. Krogers sells a large 18 counts for 3.79 and a 60 count for 12 dollars. Who ever approves pricing needs to check this place out, people are being ripped off and not realizing it.
Tamales are terrible
The king's cake doesn't come with a baby, but the bread was tasty.
My husband and I went into the store to buy some meat for dinner. We were greeted at the door and proceeded to the back where the meat is located. The same young lady who greeted us, said “Excuse me but you’re gonna have to leave your backpack at the front or leave it in the car” I said this is not a backpack it’s a purse. She said well we don’t allow them in the store. I told my husband that I would wait for him in the car because I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my purse. As we were walking back the front, I saw a Hispanic young lady with the same type of purse. I asked the same young lady “ why was she allowed to keep her bag but I couldn’t bring mine.” She said that it was different and if I had an issue I could talk to the manager. I said no problem I’m leaving and told my husband that I didn’t want anything from the store. I hate to say it but this was clear and direct discrimination. Yes, we were the only black faces in the store, yes all eyes were on us as we walked through the door but I didn’t care because I would do the same thing. When a door opens, I look to see who is coming in, a natural reaction but to tell me I couldn’t bring my purse but someone of the other persuasion could spoke loud and clear. It was my first and last time at this establishment and it’s very sad that people treat people this way. I will post my bag and the bag similar to the other. Of course mine will look bigger because I’m using an actual picture but I will find a picture similar to the one the young lady had. We have to do better people because love has no color.
Very bad, the manager is arrogant

La Michoaca ? ?
I wish I could rate this place a 0. I just came from this location and an employee did not bother to say “excuse me” when I was standing at the cold beverage section of the store. She was rude and did not apologize for walking in front of me. I was standing at the checkout line and the next employee did not bother to stop and say that her lane is open. The lady is very rude and she told the guy behind me that her lane was open. The customer service at this store is VERY HORRIBLE.
I payed 20$ for 5 tacos crazy…
They go too far with the cakes, sorry with the mini-cakes, there is no more budget to buy real bread for cakes, poor Michoacan is staying less and less every day who buys them food, better to spend on a hamburger, without fear, put Michigan on it so that they no longer wait for more food in the refrigerator.
Don't bother with the barbacoa. It looked like it was ground up and had no flavor. The green salsa was also disappointing, it had some spicyness to it but no real flavor. Won't be going back.
