The food here was very good! However, depending on how big your party is, I've noticed they tend to focus on smaller groups than the bigger ones, which can cause a wait, even if the place is empty. Overall good, wait is a little iffy.

Last time I visited this place was a month ago and the service was horrible. The waitress was not attentive what so ever and food was taking forever to come out. She also gave us our tab when I didn’t ask for it. Came in today hoping to give it another shot and already knew it was going to be a wait-there was one other party there and no one attended us to get at least drinks ordered. We walked out. The only reason I’m not giving it a one star is cause the food is pretty decent.

Tried this place for the first time recently. The Servers were hard to communicate with as they did not understand basic orders, brought wrong items and were not familiar with some things on the menu, claiming they didn't have them until we showed them the item on the menu. Tempura shrimp was good but the sushi tasted like gas station sushi. When we asked if the cheesecake for dessert was fresh the server said no, it's not fresh, LOL. Definitely not going back.

I always come when they are at their busiest. This store is my first choice. Their service attitude is excellent. The staff always tell me when the best time to visit is.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Shaggy Dog Roll — it was amazing.
The music had a very unique vibe and made the whole experience even better.
Our server was super funny and friendly, joking around with us and making us feel very welcome. She even gave me a free drink, which was such a nice surprise.
Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

Would give negative stars if possible. While the food and atmosphere could be worse, the service of this place is arguably one of the worst I have even had. Would never recommend this place to even my worst enemy. They are rude, dismissive and just overall horrible. The servers have repeatedly been rude and do not listen much less acknowledge your presence. The managers are some cowards who refuse to even talk to anyone by saying they are not there. Every single server there sucks, the robot has more personality and better service than the servers do. This place would be better off ran by robots at this point. They will scam you under the guise of “not a fully paid bill” when paying in cash. I have never payed cash at this place and they told some relatives that I supposedly had shorted them $10 and made them pay. They will prey on the young and elderly that don’t have the voice to stand up. This place sucks as a whole and I would advise anyone from going here. If you want sushi or AYCE sushi go to Osaka Hibachi and Sushi off of Gordon. The ladies there are some of the nicest people you will meet. DO NOT GO HERE (TAKARA). THEY ARE DISHONEST, RUDE AND OVERALL HORRIBLE.

Stopped in on a whim. Noticed the all you can eat buffet sign when i walked in. Immediately i was sold. Thats what me and my husband decided to do. We asked questions about the all you can eat and the waitress was not at all helpful with the answers (the ones she actually answered). Anyway. You order each time you want food. We placed our order, food came out extremely fast. Not many people in the restaurant at this time. To order more food you have to flag the wait staff down. It took forever to get one of the twos attention. Finally got our second order placed. That food took a while to come out it seemed. There were a few more customers and the food was cooked more than the first set we ordered. Flagged wait staff down again eventually to placed the 3rd order, got a few items and dessert so we didnt have to wait to flag them down again. I am assuming they do it this way so you dont eat much food which sucks because there was so much more i wanted to try. I really think they should have an ipad or some kind of computer/tablet at each table so we can order when we want something instead of flagging down staff that purposely dodges you. Portions were smaller but it worked out great so you arent wasting food. They do have an hour and a half time limit of the all you can eat option and of course no sharing. The little robot was super cool, i want to bring my kids just for that thing. I plan on going back soon since i kind of know what im doing now, hopefully the wait staff is better this next time.

This is the second time I’ve had lunch here. (Buffet both times) Food is great, service is also good overall. Only reason why I don’t give service 5 starts is because I was in the middle of eating my fresh brought soup and I was handed the check as I was holding the spoon in the air. Placed it on the table and attendant kept circling around the area multiple times to see if I was ready to pay. Was still not done with my food when I was verbally asked if I was paying with Apple Pay or credit card. At that point I just pulled the soup back and reached for my wallet. -Common Courtesy to allow the guest to pay when they are done with their meal. Atleast to my opinion. Other than that, everything else was good.

Iono whats wrong with the kats in Alvin. If I lived in this city. I'll be here 5 days a week lol. All you can eat for less then 30. That's a win in my book. Top notch food and service

The spicy Kami salad is delicious. We had 4 different rolls, Mexican & New Orleans for me and two others (?) for my granddaughter. My son had chicken fried rice and egg rolls. It was all great. My family loves this place.
