Wineries in Alvord, TX

“Nice little winery in the area. The Google map hours were wrong, and the tasting room didn't open until 12pm. I called just a case, and the owner came over and graciously opened her tasting room for me an hour early. While the reviews stated the winery had sweet wines, I was told most of the wines are dry now. I did a wide tasting of both dry whites and reds, and I liked most of them. I ended up getting a bottle of the Rkatsiteli and Heritage Red. The property is wonderfully rustic. It's a bit of a trek from DFW but worth the visit.“
