We had dinner with a business associate here during our stay. The truffle fries were so good! I had the prosciutto tomato salad and was not disappointed! It was so fresh and delicious! My husband and his business partner had the ribeye and they were both very satisfied. The waitress was so nice and attentive. I definitely recommend trying it if you’re staying at Embassy Suites…even if you’re not!

This is my second time to stay at the Embassy suites in Amarillo and we decided to dine in at 1887 again. Our first experience was just as great as this time around. Tuesday afternoon for dinner, Devin was our server (the only one), and he was more than fantastic! Our water glasses were never empty! When I asked about locally brewed ale, he made a great suggestion and it was a very tasty ipa brewed in the panhandle. Our party enjoyed the parmesean truffle fries, BBQ wings, steak, spaghetti, caper pasta, chicken Alfredo, cheese cake and gelato. The only discrepancy was the gelato trio was more of a duo - three scoops, but two chocolate and one coconut. Now, if you're expecting to get good food for cheap, keep on scrolling because this is not the place for you. You definitely get what you pay for. Kudos to Devin and the kitchen staff - thanks for a great dinner!

My friend and I went before the concert. The young lady serving us was sweet and helpful. We chose the 1887 pizza, we weren't sure what to expect but it was wonderful. Neither of us had ever had BBQ sauce on pizza, but wow!. It was delicious and full of toppings and the crust was amazing. We are already planning on ordering it again for our next concert (or maybe before). We shared the pizza and we were both full. The cost was about what you would pay anywhere.

If you like 2 noodle soup, this is the place for you! Terrible chicken fettuccine Alfredo. See attached picture to fully understand why I called it 2 noodle soup. My friend got the chicken fingers and fries off the kids menu and it wasnt bad. I was still hungry after eating what I could and it was about $18! Do yourself a favor and go to Valore thats just a few blocks away. There is a reason they only have a 2.9 star rating on here. Hopefully they can improve because the convenience of it being in the hotel is nice. Lesson learned for me!

The food took an hour to arrive and only half of the table received any. After half the table finished, the other half still had not received any. Two of our party cancelled their orders.

For a hotel restaurant the prices were not bad. The food was good. I had the 1887 pizza toppings were brisket, Bacon, cheese, and jalapenos. I chose the cauliflower crust and it arrived at the table crispy and flavorful. And the jalapenos were spicy. We were not rushed and the booths were comfortable.

Much better than expected given the low rating here! Food is solid and prices are reasonable.

Truly depressing experience. The pizza is just short of cardboard crust, flavorless sauce, and weird decision to throw balsamic vinegar on the margherita pizza that makes it syrupy, sweet. Pizza should NOT taste syrupy and sweet.Had a very bad situation while staying at the hotel, where a simple order of soup and salad got botched and 2 hours later, with only a small window to eat (was there on business) ended up with a wrong order and seriously inappropriate attitude from MARK the Hotel Manager for the evening (apparently the Restaurant does not currently have a manager, so someone who knows NOTHING about the restaurant other than what a guest can see was thrown in to helping me).1887 Social House / Embassy Suites: THE GUEST DESERVES COURTESY. Anything else (like rudeness, attitude, ineptness, finger-pointing) is completely out of line. If your restaurant botches a simple order like soup and salad - this is NOT the Guest's fault ON ANY LEVEL. So trying to throw blame is absurd, amateur, and immature management. And if you RUIN a Guest's dinner with 8 times the amount of communication necessary with a wrong order and then the Guest no longer having time to eat - 15% off a bill doesn't do justice to the awful taste left in their mouth.Atmosphere is Hotel Chic (cold, flourescent, sterile); the bartender (a female) didn't smile or give any kind of warm, friendly response when I was picking up order. Seemed unhappy to be working. Ditto Mark the Manager - who seemed more interested in agitation than resolution. There's a TON of high end restaurants in this area. This is not one of them.Thank you.

Ugly customer service.I was here with many out of town coworkers, the majority prefer the Barfield. I came to socialize with a few staying here. After receiving poor service from a bartender with a horrible attitude and no focus on customer care we decided to gather at the Barfield.I witnessed other patrons receiving the same treatment. They verbally expressed that they had also had a long day of meetings and wanted to wind down. The bar tenders accommodation did not cature to a welcoming relaxing atmosphere that the Embassy strives for.I was over charged and treated as if my business was not welcomed there. I would not recommend this location.

woefully inadequate.they served me well-done prime rib.it was quite obviously overcooked, dried out, and grey but they put it on a plate and served it anyway.do I really need to say more?

Checked into hotel, was told the restaurant was closing, but that we could order room service.Ordered and paid, went to our room. 40 minutes later, still no food. Called down, was told they never got the order.Staff was rude and unhelpful.

My goodness. Fine dining prices with less than applebee's quality. Clearly understaffed, undertrained, and overpriced. Will not be returning. Reluctantly paid the bill and tipped the waitress. Cutting my losses and never returning to this hotel.
