“While it was a bit pricey, The Wagyu steak was cooked perfectly and the red wine reduction sauce was well matched and tasted great. The spinach salad was also exceptional with the raspberry dressing, poached pear, and blue cheese crumbles. The wine choices were very good and matched perfectly with the food as was the cocktail (Old Fashioned w/ Basil Hayden Smoke) The Chilean Seabass was also cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. We added and shared the roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes which were very well done. I can heartily recommend this restaurant for a taste sensation.”

“Went to Texas Roadhouse with my wife and almost 96 year old Mother in Law today. The food was Great, but I think the staff was even better (if that is possible). It was starting to get crowded when we were leaving and everyone was so helpful as we were assisting her with her rollator walker. They made sure we had a clear path to exit. Two of the young ladies saw us coming and rushed to the doors to clear a path and open the doors for us. The good food, excellent service and wonderful staff made for a great experience for the three of us. THANK YOU Texas Roadhouse in Amarillo. We will be back.”

“I found Toscana to be an amazing dining experience! I ordered the Caesar Salad for starters, and was a generous portion, well dressed with shaved parmigiana cheese and crispy croutons! The main course I chose, was the Braised Short Rib, Vegetables and substituted for the mashed potatoes! This was served beautifully, and the short rib was, fork tender. There was a light brown gravy which was ok, but I'm not a fan of gravy overall, but had a nice flavor. I ended with their homemade chocolate chip gelato, a generous portion and was delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant!”

“We were driving through the area and remembered we had had a great dinner here years ago so made sure we stopped by. We came for lunch and the restaurant was not busy at all. The food was excellent, I love the blackberry and goat cheese pizza.”

“My wife and I went to Public House to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary. We always enjoy a meal at Public House. My wife had a margarita with whiskey, and I may have enjoyed that more than she did. Our appetizers were crab and cream cheese wontons and drunken mushrooms. For our meal, my bride ordered mac/cheese with meatloaf. I ordered my "go to" favorite BLT. That may not seem celebratory to some, but I do love that BLT! Everything was delicious, but if I were to do that meal over again, I would have passed on the drunken mushrooms only because they are rich (yet delicious) and I had to restrict my attention to my BLT. Great food, great ambiance, great service...that makes for a very Happy Anniversary for us. And I almost forgot the carrot cake. I lack the right words to describe the taste, so I'll go with, "delicious."”

“Don't let the location throw you off. This location is inside a truckers gas station, but the staff makes sure that the presentation and appearance is clean. It's a small truckers gas station but, it's clean. This subway is a 24 hr spot. That's a big bonus in this town

“I'm always looking for flavor and of all things I didn't expect it to come from the potato salad. it is just simply out of this world and the chicken was perfectly moist. the spicey BBQ sauce will bring out the smokey flavor in the meat 100/10...I typically don't do BBQ sauce because they seem to mask the taste of the meat but not here you can taste the time that was put into every bite. Can't wait for smoked meatloaf next week!!!”

“What can I say, been going here since my senior year of high school, 1983. 40 years and it’s always been outstanding. I’ve been going 2-3 times a week lately and I think they have the best wings in town! Their buffalo chicken strips are the bomb too. Don’t pass up the Turkey sandwich either, add some bacon and fries and onion rings and you are set! The waitstaff is number 1 as well! Highly recommend! Heather is the best waitress ever and always takes care of me.”

“Disappointed in my favorite go to place when I am in Amarillo I did the drive through for the first time. Called in the order. Not good. Threw my burrito away. Thought my fault for not just going in. Yesterday in Amarillo Got the edible salad Lettuce was not even chilled. It was room temp. Ruined the whole salad. Bought a large container of the spicy ranch and a big bad of chips. When I got home and sat down to enjoy the spicy ranch and chips the Spicy Ranch was like water! So disappointed, please don’t start going downhill. I love y’all’s food. Keep your quality. It’s definitely having a few issues”

“This is a great place, very welcoming. I had an iced macchiato and a sausage breakfast burrito to go. The prices are very good as well! My coffee was so good, I finished it not too long after driving off. 10/10 recommend the burrito is probably the best I’ve had in town and out of town. They have a great menu and have added a few new things. I will definitely be back!! Get up and go to 6th/Virginia and get you some good food and coffee!!”

“We are always quick to complain but neglect giving credit when it is due. We love the Plaza and food, but nobody is perfect. We had an out-of-town guest who'd never eaten at the Plaza, so of course with our rave reviews we had to get takeout. The person who took our order was obviously in a hurry but did correctly repeat our order. We picked it up and on arriving home our guest did not get what was ordered. Disappointedly I called and "Tony" answered the phone. The result being Tony gave us a credit for what we should of had on our next order. We used it promptly a night later and all went well and was delicious. We want to tip our hat to Tony for handling this situation so well and maintaining our business while gaining a new customer. The Plaza is fortunate to have such a fine and credible employee!!”
