IHOP in Amarillo

“While the food was delicious, the service was a bit slow, and it appeared no one had time to ensure every table was stocked and set properly. Depending on where you were seated, you could have anywhere from zero to 5 syrups available. There were only two available at my table, and the maple syrup found at another, unoccupied table was almost completely empty. There were no place settings on the table, so my friend and I had to retrieve some from another table after waiting some time for the server to bring them as promised. I was quite disappointed, as no other IHOP I have been to has been like this. The server was very nice & polite, but speed did not seem to be her forte (or maybe it was an organizing problem?).

We were seated in a section that had no booths, and I have to admit that the furniture did look worn and outdated. I have no idea how the furniture was on the booth side of the restaurant. I'm sad to say this is what disappointed me the most. I hope that renovations are in order for this location; if not, they should be.“

“Kevin was a great server. They were busy but seemed like they were well staffed d everyone was in a great mood which is hard to find these days. I came specifically to get some cinn-a-stacks and they were great as always with giant portion sizes“
