“We came on a Sunday night just for an easy dinner and had the raging red fish with the crawfish sauce and the buffalo sandwich with fries. It’s amazing. Y’all should try it.Easy place to come and know that you will get good service and a delicious meal. Our server Odessa was fast, polite and friendly. We will come back.“
“Snowy winter day so we decided to go play pool while in Amarillo. It cost $9 per person and unlimited plays. The sticks were straight and plenty of elbow room. The waitress told us Blue Moon and Coors were imports which we knew better. Pricing on drinks (cans and bottles) were a bit steep from what we're used to, but the kitchen menu was fair in pricing. The place wasn't busy and there were 25 tables to choose from. We had a lot of fun playing pool and would recommend this facility.“
“A family friend recommended Blue Sky burgers. This place is terrific.! The only reason I gave four stars, because my jalapenos and grilled onions were not on my burger. The food was still mouth wateringly delicious. I would definitely pass this recommendation on to everyone, give this place a try at least once or twice, or however many times you want, you'll still love it. It's located in Amarillo Tx. Believe me when I tell you, you will not be disappointed. Pictures of my cheese burger and fried mushrooms.“
“I usually take a pic if I'm posting a review, but my mouth was watering for the best Soul food in the Texas Panhandle. If you're in the area or passing through Amarillo look Delvin's up and take a detour. I guarantee ?% you will not be disappointed. Please show them some love and eat some great food. Make sure you have a bed close by ?“
“DD was absolutely amazing! By far the best service I’ve ever had! The food was great, she kept our drinks full and was checking on us every chance she got ! Highly recommend going in. Will be back soon and if you want great service and excellent hospitality, ask for DD!“
“Found this by chance on Google as we were driving through Amarillo. SO GLAD we stopped here for lunch! Delicious, HUGE burgers. Generous premium hamburger loaded with bacon, cheese, and grilled onions. Bun was big, soft and delicious.Held the hamburger together well. Outstanding bite!! Cheese fries are hand cut and came with a generous amount of real cheese melted and bubbling on top....almost looked like a pizza at first. Cafe is very small, yet very charming with lots of old-time memorabilia. If it's busy, just know it is worth the wait. Servers were very busy, but amidst it all were also very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Treated guests like old friends. We are already planning our next visit!Kid-friendliness: Lots of customers had young kids with them. Tots seemed to really enjoy their meals. Not alot of space if you have a kid that needs to move, but if your child is able to stay at the table then this would be a great place for them.“
“Great Food and Great Atmosphere. Jamie our waitress was super friendly and helpful. Been there many times for their Green Chile Willey's chicken fried steak and Gree. Chile Mac And Cheese that is amazing. The fried pecan pie with ice cream is a must have. Can't wait to go back. Had friends visiting from out of town and they wanted to go there to. They had enjoyed it from a previous visit. We go on our anniversary every year too.“
“These guys were packed on a Saturday night, of course. I had just gotten off the road after driving almost 500 miles, the last hundred miles in a serious windstorm. The Knob Creek Old-Fashioned was exactly what the doctor ordered. The 9 ounce fillet, which I had ordered medium well, came out medium or, more likely, medium rare. But after Brandi brought it back — along with some extra mashed potatoes by way of compensation for the error — it was delicious. Good salad, hot bread with honey butter. No complaints.“
“The staff were wonderful and Ruby the owner was the sweetest and so much fun to talk to! The TV entertainment was positively arousing as well so avert your eyes if you're prudish and don't want to see whipped cream applied to a mouthwatering sausage while you're eating Ruby's mouthwatering sausage. These folks aint shy in the least bit so come in prepared to leave satisfied by their unique take on sexy brunch.“
“I'm severely allergic to wheat & Celiac, so my review will focus on my GF experience today.Upon arrival, I requested a gluten free menu & was told by the hostess that they don't have one. Then the lady who seated us said that the server would be able to give me some recommendations. Our waitress said there were no options, so I asked for the manager (Keith). He was very nice & helpful. He told the waitress how to write it on the ticket & personally went to the back to be sure the cooks understood the need for safety.Basically the options are: salad w/o potato straws or a grilled protein (steak, chicken, or salmon) seasoned with only salt & pepper with broccoli & and side salad w/o the potato straws. My food was good & fresh. The house lemon-basil & balsamic vinaigrettes were both delicious!!! They alone were worth the trip, IMHO.Dietary restrictions: Read my review for gluten free info.“
“First time here and wow. Not only is the atmosphere very welcoming, but the staff was great as well. Greeted us immediately and got us taken care of as quick as they could. They didn’t waste any time maintaining the tables and area clean which helps getting guests in quickly. We ordered 4 different plates and they were all very delicious. Full of flavor! Highly recommend.“
“However you can imagine a baked potato, The Potato Factory likely has you set. We go occasionally for the hearty heaps of potato they offer and the customizable options. I usually get mine with turkey, olives, chives, and cheese. Service has been friendly and fast every time I've been. They have a dine in area but I have only done drive thru. A great local eatery.“
“Coming from out of state and I have never written a review before. I told my wife, if I'm in Amarillo Texas I had to have steak. Well we never heard of Hoffbrau and the hotel recommended it, best decision made all day.Came in the atmosphere was perfect. My wife and I were greeted by our waitress Lilian and she seemed to be in high spirits. I ordered the 16 oz bone in ribeye and she had the half rack of ribs... The steak was perfect and so were the ribs. Both my wife and I both agreed this is the best steak house we have been to. And the boss should give Lilian a raise, she was excellent.“
“I moved here from Pennsylvania, and it's hard to find vegan food. I love this place! Great food, hip vibe, cool people, and always a good selection of beer on tap! It is blatantly obvious that they care about their craft! Thank you for what you do!Vegetarian options: It's all on the menu. Check it out!“
“My steak was amazing, great seasoning and cooked perfect. Sides…average. Not bad but nothing special. Beer…also nothing to write home about. Very happening atmosphere. Little tourist trappy feeling but I guess that’s what it is. My server was great but overall the staff (especially the hosts) all did not look very happy. Got attitude from the hosts and a bartender looked right at me and walked off while I was quietly waiting in the designated spot to order a beer while waiting for a table. Mixed review but of course it’s a “must do” if passing through Amarillo.“
“We enjoyed a delicious dinner! It was a rainy Friday evening, so we didn't get to see the airplanes take off. However, my chicken fried steak was perfect with mashed potatoes and gravy and a side salad. My key lime was wonderful! I could taste the real key lime juice! Kudos to their baker!:)Everyone in our party of six enjoyed their meals. The service was very pleasant and professional even though the restaurant was full!We will definitely come back again!:)“
“came on burger mondays! $5 burgers and fries, amazing deal! huge burger no skimping because of price! happy priced drinks were amazing as well! service was great! will be back for sure! also one of the only places in amarillo that u can watch local teams on tvs!“
“First of all- shocked at how good their mexican cuisine appeared.I ate here many times over the years when I come to visit family yet today i had the breakfast (for dinner) cause my wonderful waitress (youthful short dark-haired bundle of pure joy) said i could. For 10$ I got THE BEST breakfast I have had on any vacation! Got two eggs with all sorts of junk in them andNO UPCHARGE?? WHAT?This deal included a drink as well! You cannot find a better deal anywhere off 1-40 and certainly not in all these new "hi falutin'" millenial "cafes".Two perfectly cooked southwest eggsOne piece of baconOne piece of exceotional sausageA drink of choiceAnd French Toast??Stop the press!!Anywho. great deal, fantastic service,And compared to an overcrowded pancake house down the street or a 12$ bagel at some strip mall- this was the best bang for my buck this vacation.“
“I Ordered the guevos ranchero. The food was tasty, but not that hot. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Coffee was very good and hot. Our servers were very friendly and prompt. However when we were trying to purchase some souvenirs from their gift shop. We were ignored and skipped over for another customer who was there after us. And when I replied that were next, I was ignored. Very rude.“
“The peach cobbler itself is absolutely one of the most fantastic desserts in all of Amarillo. Get you this peach cobbler as soon as you can it’s not too sweet not too bland. It’s perfect. In a world of nonsense this cobbler will make sense “
“I love Daniel's drive Inn. I have been going there since I was little and my grandparents and my mother loved the burgers and onion rings so much. My papaw was very picky but Daniel's is the only way he would have a burger ?. He is a Christian man and cares about the community. He is a blessing and a blessing to others. “
“Wow. An amazing restaurant that is a must have when in downtown Amarillo. Try the Elk as it is easily the best in town and probably 300 miles. The Rib-eye is king and you cannot miss here.Cameron was our server and treated us with utmost respect and service. Definitely DO NOT skip this place when looking for a premier dining experience.“
“Awesome doughts and apple fritters. Very close to the donuts in New Orleans close but not! So of all donut places i have tried if hot they are fantastic if not microwave beware! Ps. They have chocolate milk from local dairy! Yay! Enjoy! Worth going!“
“Me snd my wife’s favorite date night spot. Food is ?! (All I have tried) Drinks are good, vibe is relaxing and chill. Sometimes have musicians/singers providing music. Service has always been exceptional as well as the waitress/waiters be staying busy I tell ya! ? All around nice “
“Not only are the amazing for supporting locally/veteran owned business but the coffee is straight up amazing. My two year old LOVES the pancakes and eggs and I go for tj3 caffeine. The art is beautiful and so are the ladies behind the counter, ?“
“We went for dinner for two birthdays in our group. Despite us indicating that we're celebrating a birthday, on the reservation, no one acknowledged the occasion. The food was good but lacking salt. The prices were high for what we got. Our total was about $250 for 4 people. This was not a $250 quality meal. I would return for drinks, but won't eat here again.“
“I come here after work once or twice a week. I work nights so it's one of few choices I have. Its great everytime. Everything I've had on the menu so far has been amazing. The lady that's hosts/works the register is sweet and takes good care of customers. If I were a richer man I'd eat here every morning after work. The staff deserves a raise!“
“4 great visits. Everything we ordered was great. Servers have been informative and attentive each visit. Our favorites are the Steak eggroll appetizer and the Monte Cristo. Servers have also allowed us to sample beer before ordering. Desserts have been good. We got an overdone butter cake, but were not charged for it in the end. Also stayed 4+ hours on most recent visit because the atmosphere was so good. Some expensive dishes, but also some very reasonable options. Highly recommend getting a reservation. Love this place!“
“I had the outlaw ribeye that is one big plate full about 1" thick & very juicy & the wife had chopped steak, going back every chance I get & thanks to Jay our waiter perfect service all ?up.Parking: We found some on the west side about 3 area's this was at 6:30 pm on Friday evening .Wheelchair accessibility: On the west side and front .“
“This place is great! Ive even applied here, and the professionalism is acknowledged! I appreciate everything this fine establishment has to offer from the friendliest service/management for the dine-in guest's, great tasting quality food, and great opportunities for the career-seekers. Highly recommended for any occasion! The waitress i very much recommend is Alea ? though all waiters/waitresses are very important and great too! All LOVE ❤️“
“This place is pretty good, the ladies that served me were very nice, it didn't take too long for me to get my food, the atmosphere is perfect not too loud and obnoxious, the other customers are friendly and easy to talk to, but most importantly the food, the food is like it was cooked at home cuz it is home cooking the chili cheese dog special that they have I could tell was delicious, the chili cheese fries and bacon double cheeseburger is what I ordered and it almost broke my heart when I had to put it down so that I could drive safely cuz I was taking bite after bite after bite almost ran off the road shiit was so damn good it wouldn't even funny“
“Visited this loca restaurant for the first time. It is outside of Amarillo so that’s a down, but the drive is worth it. The hamburgers are delicious. If you like the patties cooked well done, this is the place. The staff is friendly. Food was served pretty quick. Will be going back to try the steaks. 10/10 recommend.“
“It was our first time here and everything was delicious, I got the Philly and my wife got a club sandwich and they were both a solid 10/10.Salad bar is excellent, but could use cucumber!Prices aren't bad either! Most sandwiches are around $8-$10 for a whole or $6 for a half. Soup and Salad bar is $14 for AYCE.10/10 recommend! The restaurant is inside the bank!“
“Taylor our server is absolutely Amazing. She treated us top notch. Very knowledgeable about the menu. We are from out of state and first time there. She took her time explaining and recommending items. She is a true asset and I would travel the 600+ miles just to see her again!“
“e reserved our requested table and were seated quickly. Atmosphere is very romantic and reminds us of a small Italian village when we lived in Tuscany. Our waiter James provided us with excellent service. Our appetizers and main course were delicious. Portions were decent size for us to split. Presentation was good ?. Prices our slightly above average. Parking is free in lot in front but limited. There is a small covered patio area outside when weather permits. Although we like the Italian style interior. Definitely ? recommend.“
“As for Food and Service, we were blown away! However, the atmosphere was terrible. We were there for an early dinner on Saturday and they put us in a plain room full of tables and a large bar with several loud people drinking at the bar. We will be back for a lunch sometime but not for a quiet fine dining experience. You need to break up the rooms a bit to provide a more romantic atmosphere. You have a lot of vertical space that could be used to break things up.“
“First time going here and let me tell you it does not disappoint! Our server Victoria was very educated on food on the menu, as well as attentive to us. Our drinks never went dry, our food was delicious, and then some. I actually ate my whole plate and i NEVER DO THAT! this is one restaurant I will definitely be going back to! When everything and everyone was on point!!!!“
“Wonderfully friendly staff! Excellent food. Xae, our server, was wonderful and knowledgeable, dealing with my black pepper allergy. The honey buttery croissants were delicious! The food was served hot and timed well. My medium T-bone steak was cooked to perfection! My tiki island drink was super tasty! Enough alcohol but not overwhelming!Dietary restrictions: Work well with food allergies.“
“The food was good both times coming here from out of state. The only reason for dropping it a star was for buying the bear gloves, and happened to get kid size instead of adult size. It was an "impulse buy" and was not with any kids, and I've stated who it was for,I realize it's my fault for not reading it, but have given excessive information on who's getting it, I'd hoped that it would've great if the employee verified if the size was okay before finishing the transaction. I've worked on the food industry for a few years and customers are usually happy to have these pointed out... and since I didn't realize it before returning to my state, it's pointless to do anything about it now.“
“Very pleasant atmosphere, wait staff attentative to your needs, friendly smiles, they offer food, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, billiards, darts and pinball, great sound system for your musical selections, with comfotable seating at the bar and the tables, I recommend the Mudd Rack.“
“No loud music.Excellent food.High quality service. These are the things I love about Jacobo's.Here you will find the best menudo in town. The caldo is a bit spicy with the right flavor. And I've not found pata anywhere else. The horchata tastes like homemade.“
“The service was great. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I got everything I wanted and more. The chili sauce has the perfect level of pungency. Fried rice could have been more spicy or flavorful but the chili sauce made up for it. Otherwise it was a great experience and will go again when I’m in town.“
“Listen, this place is ALWAYS incredible. The people, the atmosphere, the trivia, the live music (at times), and THE FOOD! Not even to mention the home brewed craft beers. It's just such a gem in Amarillo, TX. I had been craving the Nashville Angry Bird chicken sandwich for a few days, and it was everything I'd dreamt of. The picture doesn't do it justice, but it's fantastic. So good. Visit this place, y'all. The brunch menu is s-tier. Just top shelf everything.“
“Handlebar had good reviews online so we were excited about trying it out. It's a cool little dive bar for bikers that is supposed to have great food. But I found the cheeseburger dry and without flavor. Which was disappointing because I really wanted to like this place. The service was nice and it's in an old gas station which is kind of cool but I was disappointed by the quality of the cheeseburger. They weren't very busy, and there were several other places on that Route 66 Corridor in Amarillo that had lots more traffic and one even had live music while we were driving past. Next time we'll try one of the other locations.“
“We hit a lot of Waffle Houses while traveling and this was one of our favorite locations. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. Dee was our server and she was the friendliest and best server we've ever had at a Waffle House, which made the meal that much better!“
“It was nice the food n prices were excellent. But a bit too crowded had to wait a sec. The great thing about it was single gentleman got done quickly just to give us his. I love Texas! Glad to know here in this state we still have people with good ? ?!!!“
“The food, service, and ambiance of this Waffle House here are amazing. As soon as we entered, the service was amazing and efficient. After my meal order was taken, I was sitting there 2-3 minutes, and then the food arrived. It was all very delicious and tasty. I ordered The Cheesesteak Bowl because I like those, and they're great. The kind people attending each and every customer are too kind ? and helpful. I wish to go here if I ever visit this part of Texas again, Amarillo. My travels through the panhandle are limited, but if I ever embark on another journey through here, I will visit this exact Waffle House. The view outside of the windows is great, and I liked viewing, broadcasting, spectating, and watching the exterior of this exact, precise Waffle House. I am very amazed by how cool it was to be here and I like this place. The quantity of times that I will explore this part of the great state of Texas is unknown, but we shall see, and I will try to come here if I ever go up to Northern Texas ever again. I don't find anything to do often up here, as it is only a passing through city for me. That may or may not change in the near or far future. The course of events in the future is often unknown and unpredictable. We shall wait and eventually find out whether or not this sort of event will ever happen in the future, again.Vegetarian options: You can order fruits, and that is very awesome and important to specific customers. Certain religions and allergies do not permit the consumption of certain foods.Dietary restrictions: You have the option of learning explanations/ingrediants of each and every singular, individual meal that one may order. You may also walk if you are able to properly access this specific restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This luxurious restaurant permits children, adults, and elderly people to enter the premesis and dine here.“
“Our server was Maria. She was fantastic. Beautiful smile, friendly and attentive. Kept my coffee cup full. That's always a big plus for me. We eat here often. Can't say I've ever really had bad service.Parking: Limited parking in front and on the side. There is a lot of parking in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Accessible.“
