“I love the drinks here and go there about once a month. However,the prices are so high that I’m unable to go as much as I’d like to. I’m sorry but $33 for 2 drinks is absurd. I realize it’s because we prefer to get triple shots but there is absolutely no way that alcohol cost THAT much.“

The vibe was fun and lively. I’m so glad we found this place during our only night in Amarillo! Will definitely stop through here on our next visit to TX!“

The two best bartenders I've ever seen, and not that I need meetings, but I DRINK. The patrons stay happy, which makes the place my favorite bar in Amarillo. Anywhere you get that many happy people gathered, good things are bound to happen.“

“PROS- This is a really small bar that a lot of people like. It makes sense- *when good people represent your business, good things happen!* You couldn’t have fit many more people in there even if you weren’t at capacity! For this really small bar to draw such a good crowd really speaks to the atmosphere here. Rain (Bartender) told me about a blue Berry pancake drink/shot but they were out of the juice they needed to make it. A fellow patron did offer up his thoughts. He says “It really tastes like Blueberry pancakes and orange juice!” I could see that others sitting around the bar react when they heard us talking about it. Almost as if someone went and found what was needed then realized the Bartender is telling someone else they’re out! In their defense certain items have been hard to get due to “Covid”. Well Uncle Sam or anyone trying to get rid of small business. I’d say this place can weather the “Covid” storm!CONS-My biggest question is why is this bar not renovating/expanding to grow? Is it the city/county holding back or is it something else?“

“It is a little weird to be in a smoking bar. Honestly that's a plus though even though I don't smoke myself. The happy hour price on bottles is great. It's the unfortunate experience of having to discuss my order with the bartender that earns the three stars.(I actually bumped this up a star. But it wouldn't have hurt for the bartender to have have begun the conversation a bit more upbeat.)“

“When in Texas we crave authentic Texas BBQ; Shi Lee’s BBQ and Soul Food Amarillo Texas was exactly what we wanted. No frills roll up my sleeves moist ribs with a thin crisp bark. Oh so good my mouth waters as I type. Take out only was available from a run down shack with smokers in the back, we could smell the delightful aroma of smoked meat as we pulled up. Please see my pictures. Our meals came with two freshly made sides. Next time I will ask for my side salad to be placed in a separate to go plate to keep it cool and crisp. I loved their perfectly prepared collard greens and fried orca. This was a satisfying take out BBQ meal.“

“I was freezing. (Waiting on the bus for 10th Street.) when tears started rolling down my face,(thinking I had missed the bus.)I noticed the Bar down the street. I gave up after an hour. And ran to the Bar to warm up and figure out how I was going to get home from there (with all my bags in toat.) I imagined everyone would be nosy never asking or offering help. But the Bartender was quick on her feet and feet and brought me my order fast, and seemed concerned that I was comfortable. I was awwed. I got the password for their internet and called a friend to come rescue me. I warmed up with 2 shots of Yeager while waiting for my friend to show up. I felt at home.. I myself couldn't have helped someone feel as expected as I did that day. Thank you Daddy Mac's for being who you are!!!“

Very neat experience, cool and classic American bar! I’d be a regular here if I lived in Amarillo! They have frosted mugs for beer, draft and tons of choices! “Coconutz is an excellent example of a good hone town bar! This place is a locals favorite. The owner Barrett is a very friendly person and is often there. He is a local artist as well. Coconutz is a place that is inviting and makes everyone feel welcome. The jukebox is always playing. You can play a game of washers or sit out on the patio and enjoy the weather. This is a great place to relax, chill and connect with your friends.“

“If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to drink a beer while dodging a zombie apocalypse, Zombie Bar & Grill is the place for you! This place nails the undead vibe—think Walking Dead meets Cheers, but with fewer brains and more burgers.

First off, the patio. It’s huge, dog-friendly, and probably big enough to host a zombie flash mob (just saying). Our dogs were treated like royalty, or at least the last uninfected survivor, with plenty of space to roam while we enjoyed our drinks in peace.

Shoutout to Andrea, our server! Friendly, attentive, and very good with our curious pups. She made sure we had everything we needed!

In short, Zombie Bar & Grill is the perfect spot if you’re looking to enjoy a night out with your friends, human or canine. Just be prepared—after a few drinks, you might start thinking you can take on the zombie horde yourself. Spoiler: you can't, but you'll have a blast trying!“

“We were told it would be a 40 minute wait for 2 people ( did not take near that long, maybe 5 minutes wait tops) regardless we decided to sit at the bar which had seats available immediately. The bar staff was incredible Hope, Erick, Katelyn, and the other guy (Ericks look alike twin) were on point with service and very friendly. We were not up for the 72oz challenge but we knew we couldn't come to a world famous steak house and not try the steak so we ate fried mushrooms as an appetizer, a steak plate, and a quesadilla plate.. the serving sizes were rather hefty and neither of us finished our plates.. Im really looking forward to these leftovers on our 8 hour drive home this evening, we will be stopping every time in the future!“
