When in Texas we crave authentic Texas BBQ; Shi Lee’s BBQ and Soul Food Amarillo Texas was exactly what we wanted. No frills roll up my sleeves moist ribs with a thin crisp bark. Oh so good my mouth waters as I type. Take out only was available from a run down shack with smokers in the back, we could smell the delightful aroma of smoked meat as we pulled up. Omg soooooo yummy!!!!! My husband and I had been wanting to try the brisket nachos for awhile. We finally decided to order them for lunch today. They were super delicious and totally worth the price. We both ate off of them and still had leftovers. My husband had the ribs they were fall of the bone delicious. We will totally go back and try more from the menu. The owner brought the food out and was very personable. In my opinion this place is a 10.

I am homebound and my nurse brought me a dinner plate. Smothered chops, greens, rice with beans, and a cornbread muffin. It was amazing. So much food and so much flavor. Definitely no bland food here. My new go-to place to eat--for real!!!
