was not authentic at all. the queso is terrible. the asada, about the same. the covered burritos are trash cause the asada and queso are terrible and the tortillas on the burritos were soggy. we did get it from uber so theres that. the salsa had a point to prove which is cool but holy hell, theres tv shows for that kind of spicy. the onions and cilantro were the best part. chips sucked too
we absolutely love coming here, faithfully every Thursday for amazing drinks and food!! love our $10 asada plates and $2.50 margaritas on Thursdays. awesome friendly staff, cool air conditioning, cozy atmosphere, they even a long bar area .. if your only here for the drinks 😏. 💪👌👏 if your not eating here your missing out!!!

Based on the reviews, El Tejavan III on 6th is a clean restaurant with a fun vibe and fresh flowers on the tables. The food is very good and well sized. The street tacos (pollo) have deep beautiful flavor, and the rojo enchilada sauce is so so good. The Calde de Res is BOMB. The mole enchiladas are very tasty. However, some dishes are inconsistent. The fish ceviche is not flavorful and does not have much fish. The enchilada queso sauce does not taste like cheese. The carne asada plate is very dry with very little steak charbroiled taste. Service can be just ok, with long waits for soft drink refills and the check not arriving at the table. Dinner for three was $73, but lunch specials are $11.
