“Took my wife to The Metropolitan for her birthday, and we had a great experience. We got the 2-pound Wagyu ribeye, and wow—it was cooked perfectly. Definitely compliments to the chef because that steak was incredible.
Our waiter, Allen (I think that was his name), was awesome and stayed on top of everything the whole night. The owner even came out, brought us our food himself, and packed up our leftovers when we were done. You can tell they really care about the customer experience.
It's definitely not the cheapest place in town, but honestly, it was worth every penny. Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. We'll be back for sure.“

Stopped by on my to Denver and will definitely go back when I'm in Amarillo again.
It's got a nice looking environment and super cool bartenders and patrons.
The green chili bacon burger from the food truck was fire, and the Frijoles Con Lima beer was a perfectly delicious pint to wash it down. I also had a flight from their solid selection.
The kids loved the fried pickles and cheese curds along with a game of Uno.
What's even crazier is the above and beyond support they provided when we later realized that my wife had left her phone there.

Periodically they have live music. Spicy Mike's sells beer and wine, and you can BYOB for spirits, and they have all the setups. There's a patio out back that's dog friendly, and a back room that can't be rented for only $50 for two hours.“

“We love Dyers BBQ. Eat there often. Today was a rough day. We waited for food for over an hour. Our server, Megan was slammed. She was so sweet and very apologetic. After 45 minutes we asked another server, Renee about how much longer we would have to wait. She was VERY defensive and rude. She stated that “look around, everyone in the restaurant is waiting on food and if you ordered fried food or grilled food, it would take longer”. I understand things happen and we will certainly be back but a little training on how to speak to customers might be good for Rene and the day manager. Food was spot on!“

But at Yanagi Hibachi, we were finally able to see eye to eye. This resolution of our bitter conflicts and healing of our deep wounds were facilitated by both the fantastic food and the wisdom of our hibachi chef, who won't be named here for his own safety. Even the servers played a role in our familial mending, as one of them helpfully pointed out that my uncle's dastardly advisor slipped some nightshade into my lychee martini and so averted his plot. They were also able to add two extra seats for my friends, habitually late messengers and actors. Thank you Yanagi Hibachi for your help, and for a wonderful meal!“

“We arrived at The Big Texan Steak Ranch on a Thursday around 8:30 p.m. and waited about an hour for a table. It was busy, but grabbing a drink at the bar made the wait easy. The margarita served in the signature boot-shaped cup is fun.

We started with the Cowboy Steak Bites, and they were the highlight of the meal. Tender, and cooked perfectly—I would absolutely order them again.

For dinner, we both had the bone-in ribeye cooked to the same temperature. Mine was cooked perfectly while the other was unfortunately overcooked. The Caesar salad was also fresh and delicious.

The Big Texan is worth the stop for the fun atmosphere, great steaks, and especially those Cowboy Steak Bites. Just be prepared for a wait during busy dinner hours.“

“Stopped in on a road trip and split a burger with cheese, bacon & mayo, substituted the side chips for fries. I love fries that have the skin on. 1/2 burger was perfect size without being stuffed. We did start with their queso and chips that were very good. We also ate the queso bowl which was good too. Great service and the live music was nice. He had a nice voice and not too loud that I could still hear the other people at our table.“
