“The food was amazing. I got the pick 3 platter, and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our requests. They gave great food suggestions with a premium smile and signature service. Thank you for an awesome experience.“
“Food/Taste/ - ordered a Cat Fish Dinner with brisket gumbo and cowboy mac & cheese with a full slab of ribs. The cat fish was recommended and fried superbly with a crispy outside and a moist inside. The lemon based rub added a tartness that went well with the tartar sauce. The mac & cheese was good but quite salty depending on the bite so it wasn't our favorite. The gumbo was very tomato based and quite yummy overall. The ribs were fall off the bone tender that you don't need a knife at all! Absolutely delicious with a touch of smokiness that goes so well with the BBQ sauce. - super friendly owners but it does depend on who you get. The gentleman was chatting with the other table and interacting with their children providing samples of drinks and sides for them to try. The lady was to the point and really quick on the service but think she was juggling the cooking as well. - scary looking place from the outside but cozy once you walk in. It was a tiny place with only 6 tables. And while it's worn, the tables are cleaned and wiped down (but the windowsills are quite dusty with dead flies). It can get quite smokey in the restaurant depending on what's being cookedValue for - delicious food at a reasonable price point. So happy we gave this place a try!“
“Absolutely incredible, we ordered ribs, sliced brisket, and pulled pork. We also orders the mac n cheese and cole slaw. I have had some incredible bbq in Texas and this is at the top with the rest of them. Support this local business if you are passing through.“
“Over 50 yrs in TX eating BBQ and I had to find the BEST I have ever eaten in Amarillo!! Must go!! Moist and tender and just the right amount of smoke.. actually doesn’t need sauce but that too is just as important.. do yourself a favour and eat till they run out of meat!! A yes from me!!“
“We stumbled upon Crazy Larry's while driving through Texas and we're so glad we did. Larry and his with Jennifer were the friendliest, most welcoming people we met on our road trip. The would be enough, but the food was beyond good. The pulled pork and chipped beef were great but the ribs were the star of the show. No gristle, tender and flavorful even without sauce. (But the sauce is great too) Even our dog took a bite when he caught us not looking. Can't wait to be back in Amarillo to see Larry and Jennifer again!Parking: Plenty of spots, no worries at all“
“This place is amazing!!! The food is great and sweet tea is always fresh!!! I haven’t had anything I didn’t like here. Smoked Turkey, brisket, sausage and Frito pie. Potato salad is amazing and always has desserts. Might not always have the protein you wanted at the moment ( after it sells out for the day I’m not sure if any more is ready till the next day) just means get there early. Amazing group of people that work there. Love Doug’s hickory pit!!!“
“We have only visited Volcano KBBQ a handful of times, but it has always been so delicious and filling! The Samgyubsal pork belly is so delicious and crispy. My second favorite is the NY strip steak, cooked with butter and soy sauce ????. I also personally love the grilled sweet potato & mushrooms! My FAVORITE item on the menu is the Gyoza appetizer, so juicy and crispy!!! ? We also suggest the Angel roll, it's so yummy and refreshing to your palette, the cream cheese, mango sauce and soy paper really tie together nicely! Miso soup with soy sauce was delicious, and the tofu soft. I can't wait to revisit again and try out more delicious options. The price makes sense with all the endless options of items they have on their menu. KBBQ is a great choice to eat out with friends or loved ones and a fun experience to bond while cooking and eating a good meal together! The waiters ask if you've been before. If not, they give you the run down on what to do, and you can ask more questions, (i.e. how long to cook a certain item, or what popular item they could suggest from the menu.) Will eat here again!“
“Everything we got was delicious. The service was fast and even though it was busy, there was plenty of seating and we got a table in about 5 minutes. It was the best brisket we’ve had at a restaurant.Parking: Plenty of parking as it is in a medium sized mall style building. Wheelchair and accessible friendly.“
“The peach cobbler itself is absolutely one of the most fantastic desserts in all of Amarillo. Get you this peach cobbler as soon as you can it’s not too sweet not too bland. It’s perfect. In a world of nonsense this cobbler will make sense “
“The chicken fried steak was very tender and tasty, the coleslaw ? was very good, a little dark of course it is a bar, and a group was setting up for live music. Everyone should try it very good and say hi to Megan and Brianna ?Parking: Parking lot is fenced in around the building and curbside parking on route 66“
“e reserved our requested table and were seated quickly. Atmosphere is very romantic and reminds us of a small Italian village when we lived in Tuscany. Our waiter James provided us with excellent service. Our appetizers and main course were delicious. Portions were decent size for us to split. Presentation was good ?. Prices our slightly above average. Parking is free in lot in front but limited. There is a small covered patio area outside when weather permits. Although we like the Italian style interior. Definitely ? recommend.“
“I had the outlaw ribeye that is one big plate full about 1" thick & very juicy & the wife had chopped steak, going back every chance I get & thanks to Jay our waiter perfect service all ?up.Parking: We found some on the west side about 3 area's this was at 6:30 pm on Friday evening .Wheelchair accessibility: On the west side and front .“
“We originally discovered Rudy's BBQ when we lived in San Antonio, but we have been fans ever since. Each location we have been to, is laid out very similarly inside and a very casual dining experience. The best part is the delicious consistency of their food, no matter the location. It is one of our favorite go to BBQ places. Although the price may seem high for such a casual place, the food quality does justify it compared to any other BBQ place with similar offerings. We try to go here at least once every month or so, despite the number of places there are to enjoy here in Amarillo.“
“Had Wesley’s smoke my turkey for thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious. Definitely will be doing this every year from now on. I’ve always deep fried mine but wanted something different this year and I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you again Sara!“
“This place has to be one of my families favorite place to go out to eat. Great job to everyone at Texas Roadhouse. Kudo's!!!!!Vegetarian options: Not only do they they a lot of beef ready to be served. This place also has a lot of veggies ready to be sauteed up.Parking: If you cannot find parking that could mean wait for a few minutes and I'll bet that there will be parking available.Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu. Very respectfully open to kids.Wheelchair accessibility: There is even places to roll up in side waiting ready for anybody with wheels.“
“Excellent real Texas style barbecue. Locally owned. We ran into the owners old high school friend in line who gave us excellent recommendations, but it seemed like you couldn’t go wrong with anything. I had the pulled pork and my husband had the brisket. The jalapeño corn and coleslaw were perfection. Banana pudding and peach cobbler top tier. Would come again, but we are just passing through on a cross country trip. Per the locals, come early, because they stay open only til they sell out— usually happens before 6.“
