“Wow — some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had! For under $50 we tried four meats (smoked turkey, jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, and pork spare ribs) and three sides (fried okra, mac ’n’ cheese, and coleslaw). Everything was exceptional — the brisket had a beautiful smoke ring and perfectly rendered fat, the turkey fell apart, and the sides were out of this world (arguably the best fried okra I’ve had). The meat was so flavorful that putting sauce on it would feel like blasphemy. Portions were generous — three of us couldn’t finish it all. The only thing that could make it better is if Prissy’s moved to Colorado! This will definitely be one of our stops every time we visit Texas.“
