“The turkey, brisket, ribs and sausage are delicious. Between 3 of us we had these meats, plus onion rings, pinto beans, coleslaw, Mac and cheese. Delicious and the portions are very generous. This was the first visit, but not the last!“

“Texas BBQ is a world of food all by itself. For me it comes to tenderness and taste. When we need a quick good BBQ lunch it's Rudy's. It's fast, alot of choices and good.
My wife had the potatoes stuffed with jalapeno sausage and a side of coleslaw. I'm usually a sliced brisket kinda of guy, but today I tried their smoked turkey sandwich with a side of their green chili stew. It was good, but I'll go back to the brisket.
P.S. service was good and everyone behind the counter are very friendly.
P.P.S. my suggestion for an upgrade would be add a third sauce, spicy and sissy are tasty, but they need to add another flavor...in my opinion.

“If you’re looking for great food and a fun night out, check out Robles Taquería! They gave our large party outstanding service and were so accommodating from the moment we walked in. They made us feel comfortable and welcomed, which makes such a difference when you have a big group. The food was delicious and our servers were fantastic. They joked with us, kept us laughing, and really added to the fun atmosphere. And if the great food and service weren’t enough, they also have karaoke on Saturdays. So you can eat, laugh, and maybe show off your singing skills while you’re there! If you haven’t been to Robles Taquería yet, you’re missing out. Go visit!“

“We went for the Wednesday night pizza buffet, and when we arrived, every table but one was taken—it was packed! There were only a few slices left on the buffet around 7:30 p.m., so we waited about 15 minutes to see if fresh pizzas would come out. When it didn’t seem like the buffet could keep up with the crowd, we decided to order our own pizza instead.
The pizza we ordered was hot, cheesy, and absolutely delicious! We loved it, but we were a little bummed that we didn’t stick it out for the buffet. Ironically, by the time we left, the buffet was fully stocked again. Lesson learned—next time we’ll probably come a bit later in the evening.“

“Eddie's is the best BBQ in Lubbock. They have a welcoming, Texas-feeling atmosphere, delicious meat, and some of the best potato salad that I've ever had. I go to this place whenever I want some BBQ, no questions asked. I'm craving it as this is being typed. Don't hesitate to give them your business!“

“Stubbs was quite the character! I’m pretty sure I was brought up on puréed brisket with jalapeños and Hot BBQ Sauce ??? when I was older I worked at a Salvage Wrecking Yard just up the road from Stubbs , every Saturday the boss man would send me to pick up food from stubs ! Always 10 lbs of each meat and all the fixings! When we had a Christmas Party at the wrecking yard Stubs and his brother in law Troy Johnson came out and started the magical touch and rub by 3:00 that afternoon the party started whether you were there or not ! I have a chopping block that was given to my dad many years ago it’s in my garage covered up and sometimes I swear I can hear tapping sounds ! With a rhythm I started calling it the chopping block buggy ??? I will never forget Mr Stubafield ???“

“The sweet potato was excellent. But my filet medallions were tough. nothing near the quality we're used to at TRH. Normally the meat is usually excellent. these tasted that something fishy was used on them. awful.“

“We had to wait 1 hour for a table of ten but I can understand, but we sat down and I over heard 2 waitress taking about our table and one did not want to do it and wanted the other to do it. We ordered our steak medium and with a Jelepeno. It came back cooked well well done and no jalepeno. It was just a little frustrating when we waited so long for a good steak and then had to wait again.“
