The potato salad was delicious and the pinto bean were wonderful. If we are ever in the area we will definitely go back. We were just passing through Lubbock and found this great place. We enjoyed visiting with the owner. He is a great man!!! Highly recommend to anyone living in the area or just passing through.“

“BEWARE!!!!!! The last 2 Sundays I had gone in a did the grab and go and used the cashier at the front of the store. Blondie with then sleeve tattoo likes to tip herself without giving the customer the chance to consent. Once you swipe your card, it looks like it bypasses the tip screen, when in actuality she is primed when you swipe your card and tips herself for you. Confirmed by a tip showing up on the screen. Not about the money, but the principle.“

“Went with my family for some great live music. The bouncer, Ty (I think!), was absolutely adorable. Such a nice guy. Our waitress was Paige, and she was absolutely precious. She waited on us to death, and I’m so very grateful for her great service! The food was delicious and really decent prices, too. It stayed busy the entire afternoon which is a great sign. I’ll definitely be going back.“

They made us feel comfortable and welcomed, which makes such a difference when you have a big group. The food was delicious and our servers were fantastic. “Stubbs was quite the character! I’m pretty sure I was brought up on puréed brisket with jalapeños and Hot BBQ Sauce ??? when I was older I worked at a Salvage Wrecking Yard just up the road from Stubbs , every Saturday the boss man would send me to pick up food from stubs ! Always 10 lbs of each meat and all the fixings! When we had a Christmas Party at the wrecking yard Stubs and his brother in law Troy Johnson came out and started the magical touch and rub by 3:00 that afternoon the party started whether you were there or not ! I have a chopping block that was given to my dad many years ago it’s in my garage covered up and sometimes I swear I can hear tapping sounds ! With a rhythm I started calling it the chopping block buggy ??? I will never forget Mr Stubafield ???“

“6/4/26 4 of us had lunch. We were all satisfied with our orders and the excellent customer service we received. We eat lunch every week at different places so everyone needs to be satisfied with the food, service, and ability to hold a conversation without shouting over background noise. LH is on our list of places to return. What I loved was they were willing to do rare beef and got it right on the first serve.“
