Nothing overdone yet classy.For Easter it was fun to spot the Easter eggs.The fact that we had to make reservations shows its popularity.For brunch I had Migas and the sauce for the Carne Guisada was the best I’d had in 20+ years. “Me and my daughters and son showed up at 10pm and it was pack and sat at the back and thought it would take us a long time to ge a beer. But no Chole was on her toes and had those beers coming. “I only gave the food a 2 star cause when we went the kitchen was closed so I don't really have anything to say about it. I will say that a few people there told us the burgers were amazing and that we absolutely had to try them. That said I loved the atmosphere and the dj played some great music for the crowd that was there. The bartender was very nice and she was very sweet. It wasn't at all like the crowd or atmosphere as Atomic down the street. We had a damn good time and we'd go back again.“
“Blink and you'll miss it. My wife and I were in town for the latter part of the week and were really wanting a good cocktail. Something better than what your standard restaurant bar can offer. On the recommendation of an employee at the restaurant where we had dinner, we found this place. There's no signage so keep your eyes peeled for the single door entrance on the face of the brick building. The ambiance, service, and drinks were AWESOME. This place was exactly what I was looking for and I will be back again the next time we are in town.“
“Great place for a nice cold one! Sports on tv's and pretty good selection of beer/wine. Oh and if you feel the need to pick up some groceries you can take your beer with you the service was great! There are some foods to munch on and the ambience is casual. We will go again!“

“This place is freakin awesome!! Right off the thoroughfare so its not hard to get to. The bartenders here are the absolute best!! They're very friendly and attentive to their customers. I was also pleasantly surprised when a bartender went out of their way to accommodate an intoxicated customer to ensure that he got home safely. This respect for human life that isn't inherent to all, so im glad they go above above and beyond! I'll continue to stop here to get my drink on ?“
“I had a great time, it's a small venue, so there's not really a bad seat in the house. Got to hear some great music and got to talk to the band after. That's not really something you can do at larger venues. I'll definitely go back.“
“Aldolph's Grill Bar is a spacious, cozy place, its atmosphere is calm, it is a bar with everything you can expect to find, live music, karaoke, pool tables, small dance floor, good background music when it's early, half-lit, romantic, clean and fresh, we ordered a supreme pizza and it was delicious, the beers were very cold, the attention we received was kind and friendly, we got the best impression of this pleasant bar, we will definitely return!!!“

“By far the best bar in all of Lubbock, and most certainly the best bar food. It could be a restaurant all on its own without alcohol, and it would still be a hit. Mike Simonik is a miracle worker, super professional and extremely skilled at creating amazingly delicious food -- I was super impressed, and I happen to be quite the foodie! I'm also an assistant general manager at a fine dining restaurant nestled way up in the Rockies, so my appreciation for quality is keen. Mike prepared the best club sandwich (steaming hot) I've ever had in my life as well as the best patty melt, Whataburger or any fancy deli stands no chance when compared to Mike's creations! “The music was loud, which made it hard to communicate with friends at our table. This is the ONLY reason I scored down on the atmosphere. Of course, IT IS a sports bar that serves GREAT pizza, and the salad was scrumptious, too! I'd go back in a heartbeat! A couple of our group wanted a choice of crusts, but I loved the pizza as is!Vegetarian options: They have great salad.“

The bartender Brock made an awesome Nitro Island drink and they have so many flavors of Chilton’s to choose from!! The bang bang broccoli was absolutely delicious (so good that we ate it before I remembered to get a picture)! My husband and I shared the Dirty South chicken and shrimp and it was phenomenal!!! Thank goodness we live right around the corner because we will definitely be coming back!!!!“

The regular menu ranges from spicy hot to spicy flavorful. I’m keen on the latter, while husband is all about the former.Unfortunately that day, apple decided that my 13 mini deserved extra obsolescence, and was straight dead. Hence no pictures.BUT we ordered delivery from them this evening, and as shown, those scotch eggs are legit!Likewise, we went to town and made sure that Vizo’s will be our main meals at home for easily the next day or so!Obviously, highly recommended. Soooo satisfying, and also incredible value!If dining in, must also try the hibiscus drink!!!“
