“Wonderful people, kind and understanding. We were slightly late, but they accommodated us in a nice and welcoming way. We had 6 and we were in a room with 6 other people. So, the noise level was very high for awhile. We were the last group to leave, but we never felt rushed and our service was excellent. The food was great, not a large menu, but all well prepared and very satisfying. Margaritas are great, but some of the other mixed drinks are a little stout!! Next time we will try the interesting wine list. Recommend the pork chop and the elk.“
“This place is freakin awesome!! Right off the thoroughfare so its not hard to get to. The bartenders here are the absolute best!! They're very friendly and attentive to their customers. I was also pleasantly surprised when a bartender went out of their way to accommodate an intoxicated customer to ensure that he got home safely. This respect for human life that isn't inherent to all, so im glad they go above above and beyond! I'll continue to stop here to get my drink on ?“
“We arrived around 4:30 pm and there were not very many customers. Immediately, we were greeted by our server, Jordan, so we got a shiner bock and a glass of water while we waited for our entrees. Our decision to choose the bone-in fried chicken with the gumbo and fried zucchini as the sides was a great choice. We also ordered the Nashville hot chicken and the kid's chicken fried steak strips. Everything was fried amazingly. All of the meats were tender and fried to a good crisp with the right amount of seasoning. The mashed potatoes with jalapeño bacon gravy were delicious ?However, the music was too loud, and the establishment was cold inside. Every time the furnace kicked on, the unit was loud and noisy, so I felt like it was too much going on.Parking: You can either park in the street or in the designated parking lot.“
“An amazing experience! No wait in line. Booth was comfortable. Waitress was a delight! She checked on us several times. Food was delicious and served hot. Very good servings. Had to take a box home for leftovers. We each had a frozen large margarita with salt. Very, very good! Plenty of tequila.?“
“My only gripe would be that their menu and website says kitchen closes at 10 and they told us at 9:30 that we couldn't order food. They offered the pretzel charcuterie board which was good but we were wanting meals. The drinks were delicious. The ambiance was nice, classy speakeasy bar.“
“Drinks and food are great! Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu! Cameron was by far one of the best servers we’ve ever had, very attentive, gave great recommendations, and was super kind! Definitely will be eating here again!“
“The food here is absolutely fantastic. You can tell everything is made in-house. We went at 5:45 and the dinner rush hadn't picked up yet so it felt pretty empty but by the time we left, there were more people there. They had genuinely the best pizza I've ever had in my life and the cocktails are great as well.“
“Sean is the absolute BEST. I have never had a hibachi experience like this one! He will turn a long terrible day into a wonderful one! We really enjoyed him and the food was delicious! Thank you Sean! Never change and please always share your joy and excitement with your patrons!“
“How can it be that I have not written a review for Narrow Bar yet? I mean 12 of the 20 pictures are from yours truly, so clearly I like the place. Narrow Bar is on point when it comes to their cocktails. IMHO they have the best Chilton in Lubbock. If you know you know. However where they really shine is with their focus on offering a wide selection of Bourbons and Scotch. They offer the usual suspects, but they also offer several allocations. Did I mentioned Narrow Bar also offers Clase Azul Repesado, Anjeno and Plata (I think that is the other one they have). Their salad is also excellent with or without protein added, however I recommend getting the dressing on the side.“
“Picoso’s is a family friendly establishment that comes highly recommended by several family members and friends. We started off with the ‘Chilton Flight’, all four drinks were phenomenal! Not to mention they have a wide variety of tasty meals to choose from! Definitely stop by when you’re in the area!Parking: The parking lot is easy to get in and out of.“
“We chose The Reserve for Sunday brunch because we slept late and wanted to avoid a wait. We were able to get reservations 15 minutes from when we made them and arrived just in time. We both got omelets, and they were delicious, oozing with cheese. My side of oatmeal was also excellent, made better with the fresh blueberries our server offered. Best of all, the coffee was wonderful and the service attentive but not overbearing. We come here for dinner a lot and will now be returning for breakfast.“
“In a word: satisfying.Have you ever heard the saying, “snooze you lose”? Well, at this eatery, you can snooze and win big time because the food here is delicious! There is plenty of specialty items to choose from, like creme brûlée pancakes, habanero pork belly and omelettes. The specialty drinks are also delicious. The service is great too, even though the place was extremely busy the wait staff saw to our needs in a timely manner. I especially loved the decor with the throwback tables, chairs and booths. The bar area was available and also they had a large patio area.Would I return to this restaurant? Yes.Kid-friendliness: There were menu items for young people“
“First, this was a very ADA accessible place. It had handicapped parking and an ADA bathroom too.We reserved a long table for my nephew's 19th birthday. Guests ranged in age from 5 to 75. Since the buffet is only on weekdays, we ordered 4 large pizzas for the table - a cheese, a pepperoni, a Supreme (no mushrooms), and a jalapeño popper. The food was served piping hot and everyone fell on the pizzas like starved wolves. Our waitress informed us that the Supreme pizza was being remade because they had mistakenly put mushrooms on it and omitted black olives insread. They caught the mistake as it was coming out of the kitchen and so they were remaking the pie for us. We thanked them as we were chewing through the fresh pizza. We plowed our way through most of the pizzas and we all agreed that the Jalapeño Popper was the best one. The Jalapeno Popper is made up of jalapeños and bacon on a cream cheese base with mozzarella & goat cheese on top.Our server Kayla was very attentive, serving the older guests very strong bloody Marys and bottled beer, and keeping the youngsters supplied with Pepsi. It does take a little bit of time to get the cocktails but when they do come, they are very generous with the garnish ( see photos). Overall, an enjoyable experience!Parking: There are two handicapped parking spaces with a ramp located on the West end of the restaurant. But there is no lip between the parking lot and the sidewalk so it's possible to roll directly up onto the sidewalk.“
“Blink and you'll miss it. My wife and I were in town for the latter part of the week and were really wanting a good cocktail. Something better than what your standard restaurant bar can offer. On the recommendation of an employee at the restaurant where we had dinner, we found this place. There's no signage so keep your eyes peeled for the single door entrance on the face of the brick building. The ambiance, service, and drinks were AWESOME. This place was exactly what I was looking for and I will be back again the next time we are in town.“
