The beef teriyaki rice bowl was absolutely delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly coated in a rich, savory teriyaki sauce. The rice was fluffy and complemented the dish so well, and the veggies added a fresh balance. Portion size was generous, and every bite tasted freshly made. Definitely a meal I’ll be coming back for again and again!“

“Yanagi Ramen is a solid addition to the area and a place I’d definitely return to. While it wasn’t the most mind-blowing ramen I’ve ever had, it was genuinely good—especially for the location—and clearly hits the spot when you’re craving something warm and comforting. I really appreciated the variety of vegetarian options, which felt thoughtfully done rather than like an afterthought. My bowl was flavorful and well-balanced, though worth noting: even after asking for heat, it wasn’t spicy at all, so spice lovers may want to temper expectations.
That said, the experience had a bit of a rough start. We arrived right at the posted opening time (11am) and ended up waiting outside in the freezing cold, unsure if they were actually open. We had to call to confirm, and only then did someone come to unlock the door. Once inside, I asked for hot tea—pretty standard at most Japanese spots—only to be told they were completely out, which was surprising.
All things considered, Yanagi Ramen delivers a dependable bowl with good vegetarian choices and a clean, modern space. A few opening-hour kinks and missing basics kept it from being great, but the food itself was enjoyable, and I’d happily come back—just not for spice, and hopefully next time with hot tea ready to go.“

“I've ordered from door dash twice and in person once. Both times on door dash I had problems with my order. One of the times I paid for extra portions 3x and only got a partial refund though I didn't receive what I paid for. When it happened on my second order, too....and doordash didn't communicate at all about my feedback, I decided it was time for a google review. I'm trying to be fair here with 5 stars for the food and 4 stars overall...though probably deserve less the fact this wasn't reconciled through the other channels.“

“We just moved here and this was our very first meal in Lubbock. It was everything we could have hoped for. The puffs are great, the clams are big (not just a lump of breading like some) and the shrimp were fantastic. The chocolate pecan pie is not sickening sweet and I love the pineapple cream soda. The staff was so helpful and prompt. Thank you for a great welcome meal.“

“My son and daughter in law took me here for my birthday today. Service was great. It is a Saturday evening and the wait time was only 25 minutes compared to an hour or more at other places here in Lubbock. Service was great. The waitress was attentive. The atmosphere was chill and relaxed. I will definitely go again.“

“We ate here foe the first time tonight. We'll be regulars. We sat at the bat instead of waiting on a table. Destiny and Hailey the bartenders rock. Not only did the serve our drinks they got our food orders promptly and made sure we were taken care of. They rock.“

“I went to Harrigan’s Prime Grill on Valentines because I love their prime rib. They were very busy but I mentioned that I was hoping for a special night there. Service was very good and our waiter was spot on! I ordered the Bison filet and the wonderful woman accompanying me had the Hawaiian chicken! Both were incredible, and she said yes when I proposed with a beautiful ring! Thanks for the “special night”!“

“Oooomyyygoooodness!! We’re from Odessa, we came to Lubbock to spend the weekend for our 30th anniversary. We went round and round in where we could eat. I’m telling you, this was AMAZING! I had the birria tacos, my wife had the carne asada fries. I’m SOOO glad we came here. Keep up the good work! Would DEFINITELY recommend this place!“

“we would like to send a huge shout out to our server Shannon(I hope I have her name correct) from our visit last night for dinner,the restaurant was packed but what caught my eye was we could tell she was very tired,exhausted,not her smiling self from being busy Im sure but she kept her composure,took care of her tables,helping out others where she could,the food was amazing as always, I told her if I wasn't married I could kiss the cook,the Blackened Filet minion was cooked to perfection (for me) we did get a smile out of her on that 😀 but my point was,thank you Shannon for all your excellent service, we always enjoy coming to Jazz to see our favorite servers and having a meal that never disappoints❤️“
