“Had tacos for lunch yesterday. We're not huge on chains, but really had a good experience. The tacos were large and flavorful l. The chips and elote were awesome! That alone will bring us back. The counter staff was really friendly and helpful. Could have done without the drunk and obnoxious patrons next to us- but it is in college area on 420.“

“The place and ambiance was really good. One of the freshest design I have seen. The seating at the patio was too comfortable. The food was good but has a different touch from the chef. The taste is ok and serving size is on the medium size. It's good if you prefer that. Overall it should be 4.5 stars.“

“The salad bar has a good variety of ingredients to make an awesome salad, but my favorite are the soups. They do have food to make tacos, baked potatoes, spaghetti, and nachos too. The potato soup and the brocolli cheese soup are dabomb. The service is very good. I never had an empty glass and they always asked if we were good. For those of us that can't eat meat on fridays for the lenten season this is great.“

“Fast eddies is one of my favorite spots to go in town! The drinks are super reasonably priced, the food is cheap and quick! Pool tables are always clean and well maintained. “Me and my daughters and son showed up at 10pm and it was pack and sat at the back and thought it would take us a long time to ge a beer. But no Chole was on her toes and had those beers coming. “Drove almost 6hrs for Willie Nelson. Had no idea what to expect, outdoor concert and all...Parking was a short walk from the venue. Free, in a field, along with farm equipment ? Was perfect for a Willie Nelson concert, right?Outdoor venue was pretty full when we arrived yet we were able to get a decent area to set up our chairs. Acoustics, great. Can't imagine a bad seat anywhere.Next time Willie plays Cook's Garage, I'll drive to Lubbock just to see him again. Plus, I need to check out the restaurant!“

“I only gave the food a 2 star cause when we went the kitchen was closed so I don't really have anything to say about it. I will say that a few people there told us the burgers were amazing and that we absolutely had to try them. That said I loved the atmosphere and the dj played some great music for the crowd that was there. The bartender was very nice and she was very sweet. It wasn't at all like the crowd or atmosphere as Atomic down the street. We had a damn good time and we'd go back again.“

Hanging out with friends from out of town, so we ordered chips and salsa along with Piña Coladas and a Blue Hawaiian. “The first time here is a good food place. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with green chile, my daughter ordered the cheese burger without the bun, and a side salad. My wife had a cheese burger with a side of onion rings. Everything was very good, so good that even the sight of the food made it so tempting. “Aldolph's Grill Bar is a spacious, cozy place, its atmosphere is calm, it is a bar with everything you can expect to find, live music, karaoke, pool tables, small dance floor, good background music when it's early, half-lit, romantic, clean and fresh, we ordered a supreme pizza and it was delicious, the beers were very cold, the attention we received was kind and friendly, we got the best impression of this pleasant bar, we will definitely return!!!“

“I have to commend Chris the manager. My family and I eat at this location quite often. The food is always up to par and the wait staff is always incredible. On my most recent pick up order, I arrived home to find my down and dirty chicken strips without any ranch dressing. Anybody that has eaten at Caprock knows that the ranch is incredible, so I was a little disappointed. I gave the restaurant a call and was passed off to Chris the restaurant manager. Chris expressed his sincerest apologies for forgetting the ranch and offered to remake my food if I wanted to come back and get that. Not only did Chris make remake my order but he also remade my other two entrées as well. He came out, and personally gave me my new order and again apologized for the inconvenience. After having many bad experiences with restaurants in this town, Chris and his staff further show why we eat at Caprock Cafe as much as we do.“

“Love this place. The food was delicious… after taking a recommendation from the staff we tried the Fried Chicken & Gravy Spud tastes just like Chicken Fried Chicken Dinner! Yummy! “Met my dad for a late lunch. He loves watching people shoot pool. Everything I had tasted has been really great, although I had the Philly Melt the first time I was there and it was so good I have not ordered anything else, only had bites of other people's food. The fries have perfect seasoning and the bean dip is amazing too. Cold beer and it's a homerun.“

“This is a great course. A must play if you’re in Lubbock. The rating/slope, in my opinion, is not accurate. Both should be higher than listed. I’m a 2-3 handicap and with the usual 20-25 mph west Texas wind it proved to be one of the most difficult courses I’ve played anywhere. The greens are large with many undulations, requiring accurate approach shots below the hole and very difficult to read which attributes to most of the course’s difficulty.“

“The chicken fried steak is incredible!! They asked what I wanted to drink, and I asked for lemonade (which they didn't offer). I was fine without a drink. When I got there to pick up my order they handed me a handmade lemonade that was so absolutely delicious. Kind of like the fair. They totally went above and beyond. But good people and good places and good businesses deserve it. If you're looking for a no-frills home-cooked quality breakfast, this is definitely the place to go. Not the fastest, but sometimes it's nice just to slow down and enjoy the people you're with. And usually when we're in Lubbock for a game, we're visiting our daughter. A table for six with only 2 people eating. 6 waitresses yet the waiting was 45 minutes. “We have been wanting to try Lubbock's Breakfast House & Grill on University for awhile now so we took a shot and my, my, my! We were not disappointed! From the service, to the food, to the cleanliness. Our experience was a great one. We were so impressed we went two days in a row and both days were equally enjoyable! Gloria and Demi, our servers, were really sweet and attentive. Those ladies work their tails off making sure everyone is well taken care of. They kept our coffee cups topped off and hot, as was our food. The only exception being the biscuits and gravy which were cold when we got them which they rectified, not enough to deduct a star in my opinion. Try the Pork chop and eggs with the home fried potatoes, the Chicken biscuits and gravy, or the Ham, green chili and cheese omelette. They were all delicious!
