The beef teriyaki rice bowl was absolutely delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly coated in a rich, savory teriyaki sauce. The rice was fluffy and complemented the dish so well, and the veggies added a fresh balance. Portion size was generous, and every bite tasted freshly made. Definitely a meal I’ll be coming back for again and again!“

“Fun place to hang out with friends. There is a lot of pool tables to use, a ping pong table, darts, Jenga, connect four, and other games to play. The waitress were nice. They had a live band playing some good songs to sing and listen to while having a cold beer.“

“We very much enjoyed our experience at The Nicolett. The restaurant staff were very friendly and had helpful suggestions.

Our favorite item on the menu was the cauliflower pasta. My wife was particularly happy that the dish used a combination of cheeses instead of heavy cream which is more accommodating to those with a degree of lactose intolerance. The quinoa crunch was a nice touch & very creative.

Second favorite was probably the Lavender Brioche. The salted bread was perfectly baked and was a great introduction to the menu.

We ordered both the Desert salad and Fried Salad and they were both good, but preferred the Fried Salad.

For mains, we enjoyed the Antelope and Fried Chicken. It was a nice experience trying Antelope as a steak cutlet (we’ve had it in burgers and pasta before)—and it was cooked and flavored very well. I think the chicken was ultimately our preferred Main due to the tenderness and surprising lightness supported by the accompanying sauce.

“All the food is always delicious. Possibly the best burger in Lubbock. Even folks who don't typically like Frito Pie, like Shotzys Frito Pie. Not a better French Dip sandwich anywhere. Meatloaf Monday is a favorite and you can only get it on Monday. Portions are large enough that my wife and I split them. I think the cooks name is Kayro. I would kidnap him if I were to open an eatery. Jaycee is an excellent manager and waitress, always has a big smile. All the customers always seem to have a great time. Hospitality is wonderful, great food and a great venue.“
