The beef teriyaki rice bowl was absolutely delicious! The beef was tender and flavorful, perfectly coated in a rich, savory teriyaki sauce. The rice was fluffy and complemented the dish so well, and the veggies added a fresh balance. Portion size was generous, and every bite tasted freshly made. Definitely a meal I’ll be coming back for again and again!“

“Today I had a tent at the fundraiser and got to where I was feeling really sick. I called the office to come help me take my tent down and I am so impressed with the guys who work here! They were so sweet, came as soon as I called, they took the tent down and packed all my things. They wouldn’t let me help and told me to drink some water and sit down. I just want to brag on these guys that helped today! You have an amazing crew working for this golf course! Honestly, these days you don’t see people care and help like that!“

I got there just in time to have a drink and good conversation with Mari (which was amazing) and then I got to meet Britney who is the manager coming in to switch shifts. Mari was super busy and handled it like a boss! It was truly impressive to see her multitask and juggle conversations while also taking orders and cleaning up as she went! She is awesome!“

“First, the service was amazing and absolutely impeccable. We never wanted for anything and the servers were on top of everything. The courses were well timed and paced. The charcuterie board was really delicious, the foie gras was perhaps the best I have ever had. The tartare was a bit overwhelmed by the capers and the taste of the meat was lost. Both the ravioli, and the other pasta dish were fantastic. The pasta with the cream was actually unlike anything else I've ever had, you really needed a bit of everything to complete the bite, but if you did it was a new and tasty experience. The fried chicken was delicious and spot on, the pickled squash really helped cut through the richness of everything else and helped elevate the dish. The cod, one piece was cooked perfectly and fantastic, the other was undercooked, so...felt a bit slimy and mushy. The cocktails were also really well done and tasty. All in all it was worth the visit and we will definitely be back. It was a surprising gem in Lubbock.“

“I had a great time at Cook's Garage! The food is delicious and the service was first rate. The music was fantastic. There was plenty of parking. But my favorite part of Cook's Garage was I taken back down to memory lane because of the neon signs and the vintage hot rods and wheels.“

“First visit with my family. Great interior. Their Monte Cristo Sandwich was very good and recommended. Broccoli Cheese Casserole as a replacement side of regular fries was also a good choice. Blue Moon draft beer was not super fresh but good. Steaks were not recommended since the beef itself was not in a good shape. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.“

“I’m always chasing a good Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Every new spot I hear about, I’m there. I’ve tried a lot of places and most of them are just okay. Spotted This Bird’s Cooked at Deacon Baldy’s and figured I’d give it a shot. The owner was out there and was super friendly. She took the time to walk me through the different heat levels and actually explained what gets added as you step up. That kind of thing goes a long way. You can tell she genuinely cares about the food and the experience. Got the tacos topped with slaw and wow. So much flavor packed into every bite. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the spice was on point. Not too much, not too little, just right. The slaw on top pulled it all together and gave it that little bit of crunch and coolness that balanced everything out. This one genuinely surprised me. It’s hard to find a place that actually nails it and these guys did. Wish I had found them a long time ago. If you see this truck out there, do yourself a favor and stop. You won’t regret it.“

“Our family is visiting from Dallas for a baseball tournament and we stopped in because the food was recommended by some friends! The food was FANTASTIC and the atmosphere was amazing. Chili Cheese Fries were incredible and the Burgers are the best around! Besides that, the Assistant Manager (Luke) was so awesome to us. Our 4 year old asked for a Kids Menu to Color and Draw, they didn’t have any up at the front. He went out of his way to go to the Store across the street and buy them with his own money to bring to us. This was something that made our kid so excited and the hospitality was the best we’ve had on our trip.
