They were so sweet, came as soon as I called, they took the tent down and packed all my things. They wouldn’t let me help and told me to drink some water and sit down. I just want to brag on these guys that helped today! You have an amazing crew working for this golf course! Honestly, these days you don’t see people care and help like that!“

“We usually eat at every Sunday after church. We love to try new places. I decided to try this location as we really never knew it was here. We got there fairly early and got a table immediately. FYI, they don't have a sign, but we just decided to seat ourselves. Not sure if that was right or not. We were greeted by the young lady that would end up being our waitress. When we sat down, she was there very quickly. She gave us a minute to browse the menu since it was new to us. We both decided on the loaded biscuits and gravy. This menu item is amazing. They put down biscuits and eggs and sausage and then cover it all with gravy. Wow. It is a lot of food. We discovered after the fact that you can order a 1/2 order as well. The service was great, the atmosphere was not too loud and the food was excellent. We will be back.“

“All the food is always delicious. Possibly the best burger in Lubbock. Even folks who don't typically like Frito Pie, like Shotzys Frito Pie. Not a better French Dip sandwich anywhere. Meatloaf Monday is a favorite and you can only get it on Monday. Portions are large enough that my wife and I split them. I think the cooks name is Kayro. I would kidnap him if I were to open an eatery. Jaycee is an excellent manager and waitress, always has a big smile. All the customers always seem to have a great time. Hospitality is wonderful, great food and a great venue.“

“I had a great time at Cook's Garage! The food is delicious and the service was first rate. The music was fantastic. There was plenty of parking. But my favorite part of Cook's Garage was I taken back down to memory lane because of the neon signs and the vintage hot rods and wheels.“

“Good staff and a fun atmosphere“

“I’m always chasing a good Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Every new spot I hear about, I’m there. I’ve tried a lot of places and most of them are just okay. Spotted This Bird’s Cooked at Deacon Baldy’s and figured I’d give it a shot. The owner was out there and was super friendly. She took the time to walk me through the different heat levels and actually explained what gets added as you step up. That kind of thing goes a long way. You can tell she genuinely cares about the food and the experience. Got the tacos topped with slaw and wow. So much flavor packed into every bite. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the spice was on point. Not too much, not too little, just right. The slaw on top pulled it all together and gave it that little bit of crunch and coolness that balanced everything out. This one genuinely surprised me. It’s hard to find a place that actually nails it and these guys did. Wish I had found them a long time ago. If you see this truck out there, do yourself a favor and stop. You won’t regret it.“

“Our family is visiting from Dallas for a baseball tournament and we stopped in because the food was recommended by some friends! The food was FANTASTIC and the atmosphere was amazing. Chili Cheese Fries were incredible and the Burgers are the best around! Besides that, the Assistant Manager (Luke) was so awesome to us. Our 4 year old asked for a Kids Menu to Color and Draw, they didn’t have any up at the front. He went out of his way to go to the Store across the street and buy them with his own money to bring to us. This was something that made our kid so excited and the hospitality was the best we’ve had on our trip.
