“😍Lubbock Food Review: 😍 Jay and I went to Savage Tavern today and let me just say it was amazing. This place is said to have the best BRUNCH in Lubbock. There were about 10 things we both wanted to try, but we settled on a Bloody Mary and these two amazing dishes. I had the Avocado Caprese Toast with potatoes and he had the Texas Migas with queso! Yall! It was fantastic! The service was superior and it was a fun atmosphere. We sat inside but they do have a patio and we plan to go back this week for dinner. 🙌 So if you are looking for a great brunch place on the weekend or just a new place, give this a try! We were impressed and will be back! Thank you ST for a great first experience!“

I used to absolutely love chicken fried steak. It seems that in today’s world if you order cfs you end up getting something that was frozen prior to your plate.
This place is everything you expect from a home made chicken fried steak. It’s absolutely amazing. Hand made fresh and fried to perfection.
Everything was perfect.
Price is beyond fair
Service is an excellent.
The overall vibe and decor of the restaurant is one of a kind.
Absolutely exceeds every expectation and will be back. This is a hidden treasure I have never known about after all the years of coming to Lubbock.“

“All the food is always delicious. Possibly the best burger in Lubbock. Even folks who don't typically like Frito Pie, like Shotzys Frito Pie. Not a better French Dip sandwich anywhere. Meatloaf Monday is a favorite and you can only get it on Monday. Portions are large enough that my wife and I split them. I think the cooks name is Kayro. I would kidnap him if I were to open an eatery. Jaycee is an excellent manager and waitress, always has a big smile. All the customers always seem to have a great time. Hospitality is wonderful, great food and a great venue.“

“I’m in a different city every week for work and while I’m out traveling I like to find karaoke bars to check out. Tonight I stopped into the Silver Bullet. The whole experience was awesome! Great bartenders, great sound system, great karaoke host. I may stop in one more time this week, I had a lot of fun!“

“Been going for years and have always had an amazing time. The food is amazing! Chef does different brunch menus every Sunday! They have daily drink specials and a wonderful staff! My favorite bar in town that I will always highly recommend!

“We ate here the other day and what a great experience we had! We were so lucky to have Brogan as our server and she was just able the top fantastic! She was so much fun and incredibly kind to our little girl. The food was fantastic. The drinks were cold. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Brogan was by far the best server we’ve had in a very long time!“

“From the first time I walked in I felt welcomed. The bartenders are always so polite and helpful. The burger is one of the best in town. Felenia the owner is always working along side her team. Family-friendly establishment and pet friendly. Definitely recommend if you want a cold drink or some good food!“

“This place has gone through a lot of transformations over the years. Recently, they revamped the menu with the help of an amazing chef, and hired a bunch of new FOH staff, and it's really really good. The menu is pretty standard bar fare, but all made with love, special seasoning blends in the breading for fried stuff, seriously good execution.
If you've ever been here, you know what you're getting into - dive bar vibe with good energy, good people. And now the food and the staff are bringing the whole thing into focus. It's a good time.“

“My husband and I were visiting Amarillo and Lubbock and didn’t taste African food for days. So we googled African food and ordered their grilled tilapia, okra and fufu . We also ordered their baked egg snack. Everything we ordered was just so delicious. I Wish I had googled them the very first day I arrived. I am lazy on making reviews but it won’t be fair not to make a review and share this with others who will be craving African food when they are in the Lubbock area.“
