“The first time here is a good food place. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with green chile, my daughter ordered the cheese burger without the bun, and a side salad. My wife had a cheese burger with a side of onion rings. Everything was very good, so good that even the sight of the food made it so tempting. The waitress did tell us they are hoping to expand at some point, which will be a good thingAll the menu items are named after sports greats - Sheryl Swoops, Danny Amendola, Patrick Mahomes, etc. We started with chips and salsa - Chips were warm, crispy, and thick enough to hold a scoop of salsa. I got the Danny Amendola burger - garlic parmesan sauce with bacon and Swiss on a sourdough bun. Absolute heaven!!! The bun was light and fluffy and melted in your mouth, and the garlic parmesan sauce was perfection! Did not have room for dessert, but they do have a different selection of pies every day. Service was very friendly, albeit a bit slow, but they were all running around like crazy taking care of tables. We will be making this a return visit!.“

“I have to commend Chris the manager. My family and I eat at this location quite often. The food is always up to par and the wait staff is always incredible. On my most recent pick up order, I arrived home to find my down and dirty chicken strips without any ranch dressing. Anybody that has eaten at Caprock knows that the ranch is incredible, so I was a little disappointed. I gave the restaurant a call and was passed off to Chris the restaurant manager. Chris expressed his sincerest apologies for forgetting the ranch and offered to remake my food if I wanted to come back and get that. Not only did Chris make remake my order but he also remade my other two entrées as well. He came out, and personally gave me my new order and again apologized for the inconvenience. After having many bad experiences with restaurants in this town, Chris and his staff further show why we eat at Caprock Cafe as much as we do.“

We all like our hamburger/cheese burgers a little differently, but they got it right every time. Anywhere else these days, that's a must do.The food is consistently prepared with generous proportions. From the service, to the food, to the cleanliness. Our experience was a great one. We were so impressed we went two days in a row and both days were equally enjoyable! Gloria and Demi, our servers, were really sweet and attentive. Those ladies work their tails off making sure everyone is well taken care of. They kept our coffee cups topped off and hot, as was our food. The only exception being the biscuits and gravy which were cold when we got them which they rectified, not enough to deduct a star in my opinion. Try the Pork chop and eggs with the home fried potatoes, the Chicken biscuits and gravy, or the Ham, green chili and cheese omelette. They were all delicious! “I'd had a bit of a crummy afternoon, and there was a wreck on the Loop 289 access road. I decided that was a good time for a burger, so we went to Red Robin. We were immediately greeted by a pleasant manager and seated right away. Dawn was our server, and she is the absolute best. She brought out a side of oranges for our loudly hungry kiddos before our food came out (which came out hot and very quickly too!), and we had refills immediately. “Amazing! For as simple as fried chicken is a lot of places can mess it up... but not here. They're doing it right! Chicken is crispy yet light, meat is tender and juicy, and the sides have some love put into them for sure. The chips and queso was awesome and when we ran out of chips they were happy to give us a fresh batch without us even asking or charging us more. Our kids loved it and ate almost everything on their plate, which is a major win. The green beans were insanely good but all of the sides looked incredible. Lots of different condiments to go with the chicken. If I were to have any negative criticism it would be that I thought the chicken could've benefited from a little more flaky salt out of the fryer. Then again, my taste hasn't been the same since I've had Covid 3 times. Lol Overall a 9/10 for me. Awesome CLEAN atmosphere, great food, and good service.“

Food: Asiago Bagel with Cream Cheese ($2.79 + $0.79): this tasted great. Bagel was soft too. Panini Turkey Club ($8.79) - the panini wasn't large but it tasted good.the bread was soft and the turkey + bacon and cheese mixed well together Panini chicken Pesto ($8.79) - I like the panini turkey club more but this this was solid as well. I do wish there was a bit more pesto though. Overall for airport food this place is pretty good.“
