“My husband and I were visiting Amarillo and Lubbock and didn’t taste African food for days. So we googled African food and ordered their grilled tilapia, okra and fufu . We also ordered their baked egg snack. Everything we ordered was just so delicious. I Wish I had googled them the very first day I arrived. “Oh dang!! I ordered a lemon flavored Stitch inspired cake for my granddaughter`s birthday. It was delicious and decorated perfectly. The lemon was very subtle but definitely flavorful. I also ordered a dozen brownies and everyone said they were the best brownies they ever had... baked perfectly, thick, perfect chocolate taste, moist. I'll definitely be back as a repeat customer!”

“Well, I would have posted a raving review about J&B Coffee until the barista wanted to approach me and my service dog group to tell us that they “don’t normally allow dogs in” the shop. There were 20-30 people talking with grinders & other machinery going in a loud “garage-like” acoustics in this concrete floored building when my dog tried communicating with me with a single Woof. It was not 30seconds before the skinny female barista made it over for her admonition. Well, I’m thinking she could use some ADA training before she gets the place into trouble. Her and her cat can live a happy life together.”

“The Monomyth in Lubbock Texas: Nowadays I find myself in the Yee-Haw part of the state. That means that the coffee can double as paint thinner, and the coffee shops are designed off of prisons. Recently however, I had the chance to see an Don Giovanni in Lubbock Texas, where the person who played Don Octavio stole the show. He did nothing to help, and sang beautifully. Remarkable. While in Lubbock for my crossover episode with all the old Wesley +Laureen, we went to the Monomyth, a Coffee Shop. No only was the shop not a prison, but the coffee didn't come with its own chemical code. While that is all well and good, it invites something different to fill the gap, hipsters, and hipsters they were. Styled beards, flannel shirts, flared mustaches, light leather boots, jeans, and man buns. I felt as if I was behind enemy lines and it was difficult to get my bearings, so that I could order. I'm not fluent in hipster, but I can hold a conversion, so I was confident in my ability to order. "Should I do drip or bar" "We have a single origin Honduras on Bar" which caused Don Octavio's eyes to shoot out lasers and him to rip off his shirt revealing the Honduran Flag tatted on his chest. At least that's how I imagine he felt. "Sounds good, I'll have a latte" He corrected me, "You'll have a cap" And a cappuccino I had, and he was right it is what I wanted. I just didn't know. A near perfect barista experience where they can size me up and correct my order based on what they know they have and what they think I want and be correct about it. As for the drink itself, the milk was over steamed with visible bubbles, and while their was foam art it would have benefited from a slower initial pour. However, the espresso did a hard carry. The sweetness melded with the sour to make a thoroughly enjoyable drink. If I were to go again I would get just the espresso, the milk only took away from what I can surmise to be the unyielding power of Honduras.”

The menu is so varied that everyone can find SOMETHING and the prices and portions are incredible! We had the egg and cheese grilled cheese, the club on a croissant, the chicken and waffles and a 1/2 beef, 1/2 mozzarella cheese Korean corn dog with potato, plus two spiral potatoes, and we could not have loved it more! The restaurant was clean and organized and he said he is even aware of what music he plays so as to be family friendly! This will absolutely be our new must have!”

The crust was crisp, extra toppings and we even had some to take home. We LOVE Parry’s and will definitely enjoy dinner there again! Very friendly and helpful staff!”

There were about 10 things we both wanted to try, but we settled on a Bloody Mary and these two amazing dishes. I had the Avocado Caprese Toast with potatoes and he had the Texas Migas with queso! Yall! It was fantastic! The service was superior and it was a fun atmosphere. We sat inside but they do have a patio and we plan to go back this week for dinner. 🙌 So if you are looking for a great brunch place on the weekend or just a new place, give this a try! “I ordered the chicken fried steak, and as someone who really loves CFS, I was disappointed. While the portion size was generous, the steak itself seemed to have been fried against the bottom of the pan, or set for a period of time on parchment to seal a thick, flat sheet of crust that was greasy rather than crispy. I had to add a lot of pepper just to get some flavor. The mashed potatoes were also bland. I will not be ordering anything that is fried on their menu. On the positive side, the wedge salad was amazing, and the bread pudding reminded me of New Orleans — absolutely delicious. The bread service was inconsistent: the first round was dry and stale, but the second round was hot and fresh, which made me feel like the initial serving had simply been sitting out. If it hadn’t been for the salad and dessert, I would have spoken up about the meal. I was also disappointed to see cardboard boxes stacked in a way that hid the distillery from my view. That said, the service was truly amazing, and the staff were the highlight of the experience.”

I have traveled to many places, Michelin star restaurants in, Italy, Mexico City, famous places in Madrid, Barcelona, and yet beautiful place in Lubbock Texas gave me a personalized experience that matched such places. The entire team being polished and trained in hospitality, showed off their menu in such a great light. Chef Finn has traveled the world and carried beautiful moments from many places and translated it into his menu. So much care and so much passion goes into every turn and twist, every ingredient, showcasing, hand selected provisions from all over. I am beyond impressed. What a sensational experience. I can’t wait for more people to come and experience the love and passion that is all over this menu it is also so refreshing and so beautiful to hear. “I had a good time at a Cricket draft house and grill, especially the drinks we're very good along with the food as well, it will get loud in there, especially during Friday and Saturday night like a nightclub, especially when you're ordering a drink or 2, at least you'll have a good time with friends and family.
The floor is messy, especially the bathrooms are way worse. Especially the man's bathroom, and don't get me started on that.
They all need a major remodeling.
They will check ID during Friday and Saturday nights, especially, there's a long line of people trying to get in unless use the line leap app to get in, but it's gonna cost you.”

“Coming home from the DMV I decided to get a quick bite and chose Taco Villa. I got a #6, 2 crunchy beef tacos and a 32 oz root beer, my husband wanted 2 soft beef tacos. They gave me enough mild salsa so I could smother my tacos but they were SO good, a nice, thick slice of tomato and shredded cheddar, oh, yum! I order for delivery a lot and will add this store, can't wait to try a taco salad if they have it.”

The menu is already on the table so it gives you time to think of an appetizer as well! We got the TX nachos and it was delicious!! For my entree I got a Philly sandwich with spicy fries. The Philly was very mayo but that's how I like it😋 the fries had a nice flavor and was crispy. The prices were amazing for the portioning as well!
