The tacos here are delicious. Clean restaurant. The customer service was great. If you are ever in the area stop by this place and give them a try ,you won’t be disappointed.

I had the **Super Nachos with birria meat**, and they were very good! The portion was a good size, and the birria meat was flavorful. The avocado was fresh, and the crema and queso fresco added some great extra flavor.
My only complaint was that there was a little too much queso, which caused the chips to get soft pretty quickly. I prefer my nachos to stay crispy a little longer!

Best carne asada fries in the city 😮💨🔥. And the queso tacos are amazing as well. And the agua frescas to wash it down.... Just trust me go try it 😋.

Colimas | Mexican offers some of the very best Mexican food in Lubbock. The food is delicious and comes in large portions. The birria tacos are the size of 2 tacos combined and are the best in town. The barbacoa was the bestttt. The elote tastes fantastic and the aguas frescas are on point with many flavors, including some not seen anywhere else. The fruit trays are a highlight. Service is friendly and the seating area is kept clean. For Lubbock OGs, this is the same people behind the counter from the old Raspados, serving the same deliciously comforting tacos, tortas, elotes, and horchata. It is tucked away in a little-rough-around-the-edges part of town, but it is worth it for the best Mexican food. Worth the money and a new favorite.
