We were planning from afar -- we both live across the country from our parents, yet Sarah and her team could NOT have been easier to work with. Sarah immediately replied to all of our emails and phone calls, and had great ideas about how to structure our party. She also helped us pull off a number of surprises for our parents!The space (the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center) is beautiful and very flexible. It can accommodate a variety of group sizes. The food for the party was all prepared perfectly and was very tasty. We had a number of guests comment on how delicious the food was (we had salmon or beef fillet as protein options). The staff who served the food and drinks were kind and gracious. And the set-up and and clean-up crews were efficient and professional.Our party went perfectly. I decided to try Schlotzsky’s after church on 82nd Street in Lubbock TX. The premises were clean, the service was amazing & the sandwich was Outstanding. “You know when you walk into Schlotzsky's that you are going to get a good sandwich and excellent service. I've had most things on their menu, but I'm still a fan of their "Original" sandwich. Their pizzas are also really good. I've never tried their Cinnabon, but the option is there if youa re interested since they share the same location. It does make the restaurant smell good though! Since this location is really close to the university and the hospital, it can get really busy at lunch. I'd recommend you get there before 11:45 if you want to avoid the line. They are pretty fast in getting your order out to you, but the line does get pretty long around 11:50 or so.“
