To say my experience was bad is an understatement. I arrived about 20 minutes before closing, which I didn’t think was unreasonable, and I was 4th or 5th in line. It still took until 9:00 PM to get my order.
While waiting, I watched an employee take a bag to customers inside, then go back, pull something out of it, open it, look at it, close it, and throw it back into the bag. That same bag was then handed to me at the drive-thru window—with the employee still wearing...read full review
Center of the roll. It is nothing but chopped up roll and I’m sure it was not fresh! I called to ask why I was charged $5.19 for it and was told you have to buy a meal to get the $2.99 price. I bought a $9.99 sandwich, a large drink for $3.29, and a bowl of soup for $5.79 — but that did not qualify for a meal. I won’t be back.

I decided to try Schlotzsky’s after church on 82nd Street in Lubbock TX. The premises were clean, the service was amazing & the sandwich was Outstanding. I bought a large & almost ate the entire sandwich because it was So Good. Fresh bread & fresh ingredients made me smile while eating.

Based on the reviews, Schlotzsky's Deli is a place where the food is always hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. The Schlotzsky's original sandwich is a favorite, and the sourdough buns are delicious. From soup to pizza to sandwich or even a cinnamon roll, it is all good. However, some experiences have been mixed. The price of two small sandwich meals was surprising at a little over $26.00. At one location, the service was not good, with a rude drive-through experience. Another visit found the restaurant where the drinks are was pretty dirty. One customer ordered the #9 combo veggie sandwich but got no chips and found the sandwich a little skimpy. While many have never been disappointed, others have decided not to return.
