The Pecan Grill offers good food but some find it overpriced. The atmosphere is upscale but not outstanding. One recommended item is the aftershock cookie with Shiner Bock beer ice cream. The Florentino steak for two was disappointing, but the beans were fantastic. The restaurant has a nice upscale door and prompt service, with some staff being students from the hospitality program at Tech. The food is cooked perfectly and delicious, with reasonable pricing for the quality. A minor issue was a delay in serving the toddler's grilled cheese.
