How can it be that I have not written a review for Narrow Bar yet? I mean 12 of the 20 pictures are from yours truly, so clearly I like the place. Narrow Bar is on point when it comes to their cocktails. IMHO they have the best Chilton in Lubbock. If you know you know. However where they really shine is with their focus on offering a wide selection of Bourbons and Scotch. They offer the usual suspects, but they also offer several allocations. When we went there for the first time Monday night, there was basically no food (out of all meat!) and the bartender seemed kinda surprised we were asking for a good menu. The cocktails were good though.

Bartenders that actually know how to mix cocktails. Food good but not great. I like the atmosphere. Quiet, relatively reserved at least at Happy Hour. You can have a conversation you can hear and don't have to compete with the background. Great tree shaded patio, looking forward to a little cooler weather. Have been going back regularly.
