“Chicken and fish are good. Greens were a bit salty, Mac was greasy and not cheesy. The best thing I tasted were the hush puppies(amazing). They charged a 43+% gratuity to our bill. Our food for 4ppl was $80+ish and the tip of $44 was automatically added to the bill. Idk how this works, but if I'd known I would have eaten else were. Food 5/10 service 7/10.“

“First visit with my family. Great interior. Their Monte Cristo Sandwich was very good and recommended. Broccoli Cheese Casserole as a replacement side of regular fries was also a good choice. Blue Moon draft beer was not super fresh but good. Steaks were not recommended since the beef itself was not in a good shape. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.“

“My only complaint about Jazz in Lubbock is - they're 100 miles away from Clovis, NM. I've been making the drive to Lubbock just for the crawfish etouffee for a number of years. When I walk through the door almost as soon as they open, they know where I'm going to sit and when I reach the table, my tea is already there, and I see a servers back as she's on her way to place my order. Generally, I'm by myself and get to spend time with the servers and the manager. Great folks, best crawfish etouffee outside of New Orleans.“

“First time here and the food was delicious. I had the tenders. Tenders were a good size but what sealed the deal was the manager and staff. They were so friendly and helpful of the menu. They also gave us some complimentary dipping sauce and fried pickles to try wich were also delicious! Definitely will be back“

“We just moved here and this was our very first meal in Lubbock. It was everything we could have hoped for. The puffs are great, the clams are big (not just a lump of breading like some) and the shrimp were fantastic. The chocolate pecan pie is not sickening sweet and I love the pineapple cream soda. The staff was so helpful and prompt. Thank you for a great welcome meal.“

“Our family is visiting from Dallas for a baseball tournament and we stopped in because the food was recommended by some friends! The food was FANTASTIC and the atmosphere was amazing. Chili Cheese Fries were incredible and the Burgers are the best around! Besides that, the Assistant Manager (Luke) was so awesome to us. Our 4 year old asked for a Kids Menu to Color and Draw, they didn’t have any up at the front. He went out of his way to go to the Store across the street and buy them with his own money to bring to us. This was something that made our kid so excited and the hospitality was the best we’ve had on our trip. Blue Sky by Texas Tech will be a MUST VISIT any time that we’re in the area!! - Gutierrez Family“
