This time ESPECIALLY she ran her legs off taking care of us because the coffee was bitter and because the kitchen got some of the order wrong. But she always maintains a friendly and proficient demeanor through it all. We laughed a lot today about it. We look forward to seeing her or Linda every time we visit Denny's.“

“Pondaseta Brewing Co. is easily one of my favorite spots in Amarillo. All of their beers are great, the taproom has a fun, laid-back hangout vibe, and it’s the kind of place that works just as well for a casual drink as it does for meeting up with friends on the weekend.

One of the best parts is the patio. It’s both pet- and kid-friendly, which makes it a perfect weekend spot when you want to bring the family, hang out with friends, and enjoy great local beer and some food from their onsite food truck. Pondaseta is one of those places that just feels like Amarillo in the best way.“

“I love this place, first the food is amazing, REAL BBQ, just how you'd like it. Second, the service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is great, plenty of space between tables. Periodically they have live music. Spicy Mike's sells beer and wine, and you can BYOB for spirits, and they have all the setups. There's a patio out back that's dog friendly, and a back room that can't be rented for only $50 for two hours.“

“I ordered my food for Carry out. I got the beef and barley soup broccoli a sweet potato with brown sugar and honey butter, and a Caesar side salad. The food was very delicious. The only complaint I would have if I was being very particular it was that the size of the soup was a little bit smaller than I had anticipated because I got the bowl instead of the cup, but the soup did have a lot of meat in it and it was absolutely delicious. i’m not sure how big the cup is if the bowl is the small, but if you’re ordering a bowl of soup, you will probably want to order a side or two along with it. other than that, the service was amazing and very fast because I ordered from my phone and then walked over from two buildings away and it was already done by the time I got there.“

I never send food back but unfortunately my eggs Benedict were over cooked & she noticed the disappointed look on my face and very kindly had them remade. They redid them and they were perfect! We gave him a tip IN CASH and he felt the need to steal and also tip himself on our card, without our consent. So be weary when paying with card.“

“First time to visit here during one of our visits to the city. Nice owner. Great vodka with many selections of flavors. They have house drinks, and they can customize a drink! Delicious specialty drinks and great knowledgeable bartenders--ask for Debo! You can sign up for a tour here of the distillery. The Son of a Peach, The Frosted Coke, and the Gone Bananas specialty drinks ordered for our group were superb! They use fresh fruit and natural vanilla bean for the flavors.“

“3 of us girls celebrated women's time. We had the best experience. One lady had never been there, she loved it and felt very special. Another lady had only had drinks in the bar. She had a marvelous time. I made the reservations, I've been there many times. My husband who passed in January 2025 used to take me for it anniversary. It's also where I said YES to the marriage in 2007. I enjoyed every minute of all of it off course. But missed my husband presence and laughter.“

“This is the 2nd time we are staying in Amarillo and I insisted to try this place. I’m glad that we came. We didn’t make a reservation cuz it’s Tuesday, it shouldn’t be busy. I was wrong! We had a hard time finding a parking space to start with. Our wait time was 10-15 minutes but no problem, they have an excellent souvenir shop where they have excellent choice of t-shirts especially Women’s which usually you don’t see at other souvenir shops. Bc we needed to get a t-shirt for my sister in law. Our wait time was shorter than expected. They took us to their dining room, and we go “Wow!” Their dining room reminded me of Disneyland saloon plus Bass Pro Shop. There are many 10 person long dining tables surrounded by smaller booths with upstairs seatings looking down the main dining room. (You can see it on my video) Our server, Dylan was super! Knowledgeable, friendly and he gave me 3 samples of beer when I asked about their beer selections. (They have all kinds of IPA) I ordered a prime rib and my husband ordered a Ribeye and they were delicious that my prime rib melted in my mouth. We’ll be back whenever we pass by Amarillo. Highly recommended.“

“I recently tried a chicken and waffles dish at Ove-See Restaurant, and it was a satisfying mix of comfort and indulgence. The fried chicken was the star crispy on the outside with a golden, well-seasoned crust, and tender and juicy inside. The waffle underneath was soft and fluffy with just a hint of sweetness, making it a perfect base to soak up the sauce and balance the richness of the fried chicken. A scoop of butter on the side added an extra layer of richness when melted over the waffle.

The dish also came with a small side of fresh fruit strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and a slice of orange which provided a refreshing contrast to the heavier main dish. It helped cleanse the palate between bites.

“Stopped in on a road trip and split a burger with cheese, bacon & mayo, substituted the side chips for fries. I love fries that have the skin on. 1/2 burger was perfect size without being stuffed. We did start with their queso and chips that were very good. We also ate the queso bowl which was good too. Great service and the live music was nice. He had a nice voice and not too loud that I could still hear the other people at our table.“
