Tortilleria Lupita Reviews
Awesome love this place
I called in eight asada burritos for my employees. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. When I arrived, I realized the tortillas were prepared daily. Everyone at work was pleased with the food we got. Best burrito I’ve had in a long time.
Stopped by on our way back to Dallas from Albuquerque. As much as I love Barbacoa, I decided to skip it based on reviews, and I am so glad I didn’t try it. My dad ordered and couldn’t even eat it. It’s NOT barbacoa. It’s more like brisket or shredded beef. I ordered a Rojo and my hubby ordered a Chicharron. They were both okay. But the Chile Verde, which my hubby and I both had, was delicious and worth the over 30 minute wait.

Tortilleria Lupita offers delicious food with a homey smell, especially the corn tortillas. The service is fast and friendly, with staff who are always super sweet. The barbacoa burrito and chicken tacos are popular recommendations. This is a cool spot that makes its own amazing homemade tortillas. The food is authentic and excellent, with dishes like the chile verde gorditas that are absolutely delicious. While some reviews mention the burritos could be a bit hard and not as fresh as expected, the beef and potato burrito remains a favorite. The Carne Asada with beans, cheese, lettuce, and onions is massive and delicious, perfect for a meal after a busy day. Breakfast burritos and chorizo are also praised. Overall, it is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for a tasty meal in Amarillo.
