“Fun local place to eat! We were happy to be able to bring our dog and sit out on the patio. It was an extra bonus to enjoy good live music! Our waitress was also great! I love seeing a privately owned restaurant that’s been open for more than 40 years!!“

“Good home cooked meal. Went a week ago and i ordered the catfish with some mac and cheese. The waitress came to check on us and noticed my mac and cheese was dry. She came back and brought me a fresh side even though I was almost done eating. I didn't even notice cause it was just so good. So kudos to the customer service here we will be back ��“

“Really good breakfast spot. Sometimes I get a to go or or sometimes I dine in.. just depends what I have going on that day. Love the breakfast burritos with potatoes when I'm getting it to go..my go to when I dine in is huevos rancheros. They have daily specials. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Price point is very reasonable. Real food from this place or genetically modified bioengineered food from McDonald's that costs more? El Jalapeno Cafe always. Thanks guys!“

“A wonderful, literal hole-in-the-wall place on 34th and western. It’s in a prime location because you’re right next to all the shops @ 34th and there are a lot of tired moms (it’s me, hi, I’m a tired mom) who would probably love to frequent this place. I’ll be back! 🤓“

“Fantastic job to this incredible restaurant. The wait staff never missed a beat. If you’re interested in yummy food, fresh bread AND the history of the shops in Amarillo, this place is a gem. As we were checking out, the staff apologized for the wait… and there was NO WAIT! She said they were short staffed so the owner was the cook. It was great. There are hat boxes from the old clothing stores displayed and if you walk back in the hallway it’s loaded with photos of what it used to look like downtown. This place is a must. You must go!!“

“We were traveling through the Panhandle and stopped for a night in Amarillo. We asked the Hampton Inn front desk clerk to recommend good local place to have an early dinner and she immediately responded with Coyote Bluff Cafe and wrote the address for us. When we got there we looked at each other bewildered and hesitated then decided that the parking lot was full so we’d give it a try. Our waitress was quick and very friendly, our food was out in a jiffy and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the fries were fantastic. I will recommend this place to anyone I know who is headed to Amarillo!“
