“These guys were packed on a Saturday night, of course. I had just gotten off the road after driving almost 500 miles, the last hundred miles in a serious windstorm. The Knob Creek Old-Fashioned was exactly what the doctor ordered. The 9 ounce fillet, which I had ordered medium well, came out medium or, more likely, medium rare. But after Brandi brought it back — along with some extra mashed potatoes by way of compensation for the error — it was delicious. Good salad, hot bread with honey butter. No complaints.“
“Coming from out of state and I have never written a review before. I told my wife, if I'm in Amarillo Texas I had to have steak. Well we never heard of Hoffbrau and the hotel recommended it, best decision made all day.Came in the atmosphere was perfect. My wife and I were greeted by our waitress Lilian and she seemed to be in high spirits. I ordered the 16 oz bone in ribeye and she had the half rack of ribs... The steak was perfect and so were the ribs. Both my wife and I both agreed this is the best steak house we have been to. And the boss should give Lilian a raise, she was excellent.“
“My steak was amazing, great seasoning and cooked perfect. Sides…average. Not bad but nothing special. Beer…also nothing to write home about. Very happening atmosphere. Little tourist trappy feeling but I guess that’s what it is. My server was great but overall the staff (especially the hosts) all did not look very happy. Got attitude from the hosts and a bartender looked right at me and walked off while I was quietly waiting in the designated spot to order a beer while waiting for a table. Mixed review but of course it’s a “must do” if passing through Amarillo.“

“This was a recommendation from a local resident. He said, " the best steak you'll ever eat"...maybe not THE best steak I've ever eaten, but it was damn good! Our server was very personable and attentive. The atmosphere was great, lots of neat little western knick-knicks. My one irk...we walked in, and the hostess looked at us, and I said, two please. She walked to the closest booth and pointed. We sat down, and I said thank you. She just walked away. I don't need a conversation, but common courtesies should be a given when you're a hostess.“

“Tonight's food was really good it was what was needed. The kids love their food and me mine. There was a little mishap with not receiving something I called up there and they were quick to fix the problem. I was able to get the products without any problems. Thank you for a good date night in the food was nice and juicy and the roll was nice and soft“
“I visited this location with my son, my daughter-in-law, and my infant grandsonI am a wheelchair patron and found that they had ample handicap parking in the front of the location. I found the interior of the location weather tight and difficult for me to maneuver in my wheelchair with some pushing and shoving of chairs and tables we were able to get to a table and be seated our waitress was excellent she was brand new and I do not remember her name and I apologize for that but she was very good. The food at best was adequate I had spicy food which was highly spicy and very delicious but the meatloaf was not a thick cut meatloaf it was a thin cut meatloaf Patty I received two of those with some spicy sauce on it we all agreed that the meal was okay the best thing we had in the entire meal was the fried mushrooms. We were pleased to see if they had and gave us a sling to put my grandson's carrier in . All in all, our visit would be ranked adequate, and that would marginally recommend it in comparison to other like restaurants in my area.“
