I don't think I could have been more pleasantly surprised. The staff was great, super friendly and the food was 🔥. I travel all over for work, the collard greens definitely make top 3 that ive had in the country. I tried red fish for the First time & that will definitely have a girl coming back!
Food was great wish they were open longer
ate for the first time today, did not disappoint. Best red beans and rice in town, hands down. Everything was delicious!

Sunday's Kitchen is a small, charming cafe worth the search. Chef Ron serves up fantastic Cajun Creole dishes, including poor boy sandwiches and catfish platters. The Sunday plate is full of flavor and has just a tad of spice, making it a favorite among visitors. The Pit Master Mac & Cheese and Atchafalaya Alfredo pasta are must-tries, with the Cajun cream in the pasta being spicy but not overpowering. The gumbo and Crawfish grilled cheese are absolutely amazing. Recently, the Oxtail grilled cheese has also become a popular choice among customers.
The menu is unique and difficult to find online, adding to its charm. The brisket nachos are phenomenal, and the fish, fries, shrimp, and crab cakes have all received excellent reviews. Customers have noted that the fries are served hot, and the service is wonderful. The staff is friendly, and the place is spotless, making it a must-visit spot for the whole family. Even for takeout, the service is nice, allowing diners to enjoy a delicious meal at home. Many guests are willing to drive long distances just to eat here, showcasing the quality of the food and the pride the staff takes in their work.
