“Great place, staff is super friendly. Not a big fan of their egg kolaches but their regular sausage ones are very good. I love their donuts as well. I tried Kolaches from Benjamin’s the other day and was bummed I didn’t drive the extra couple miles to get to Rise and Shine but now I know better. I don’t know how people go to Donut Stop when this place exists.“
“My kids and I have had great experiences here. I first went a few days ago and I had to go back the next day. . . and the next. The seasonal menu has some really tasty things on it! My son doesn't love coffee drinks and they had great choices for him too. The staff is super friendly and I am already looking forward to the next thing to try!“
“Awesome doughts and apple fritters. Very close to the donuts in New Orleans close but not! So of all donut places i have tried if hot they are fantastic if not microwave beware! Ps. They have chocolate milk from local dairy! Yay! Enjoy! Worth going!“
“Cute little spot locally owned by kind people, different crowd than the donut shop mostly parents and kids getting ready to go to school. Have a variety of breakfast items and drinks to choose from. Also have a drive thru for those cold days and not wanting to get out and freeze.“
“Until now I haven't had much luck with donuts here in Texas. But at House of Donuts I found a little of what I was looking for. This shop does some donut decorating (chocolate glaze with a brown frosting poop emoji where the donut hole used to be), has a maple bacon donut (yassss), old fashioned, bars, kolaches, and cream filled donuts. Now if they would add a French crueller to their menu they'd have everything!“
“Really great donut. Friendly service. Good prices. They carry kolaches, burritos, and sandwiches. I didn't try any of those and they are pre-made but that doesn't mean they aren't good. (I would guess they are made fresh daily using fresh bread, pastries or tortillas. )“
“We only get donuts in Texas...This shop is a hidden gem...We got an apple fritter...they use real apples and they are flat n crispy yet soft...just like my fiancé luvs them...n I got my maple bar like always...it was light n airy n fluffy like a pillow...mmm good...n the little lady at the window was so nice...“
“I absolutely adore this place! I recently moved to a city a little bigger than Amarillo & have yet to fins a donut place anywhere near as amazing as Donut Stop. The taste, the quality of both the products and people are so much better at Donut Stop! Luckily I have to come back to Amarillo every so often for appointments....& of course, Donut Stop!“
“If you enjoy peculiar flavors (and I do) try the matcha one! Watermelon was outstanding as well.Picture a donut but with more density, a more focused flavor, and already partitioned into little perfect round bite sized sections for you! Is this making sense?!It will when you stop by this place to treat yo’self! PS the actual location is comfortable as well. We were in a hurry, but will return to kick back and enjoy in house soon!“
“I love coming to this Donut Stop. Friendly service from folks that seem to enjoy working together on top of pillowy delicious donuts and pastry. My favorite of all is the Maple Crunch Cinnamon Roll. It is the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. These were straight out of the oven. Yum!“
“We tried this place for the first time and it was worth it. We got 4 dozen mini donuts for $24 and it came with 2 hot chocolates or coffee your choice. We tried chocolate, strawberry, and plain vanilla glaze. The vanilla was our favorite. The Owners were also really cool and nice. We will be back again!“
“I love this place. Paid $13 for a few donuts and a couple of bottles of Dr. Pepper. Would have cost me $25 where I am from. I see a lot of complaints about the kolaches. Just remember that this is the Donut Stop and not the Kolache Stop and you will be fine. Get kolaches in West, TX which is north of Waco in n I-35. Google is wrong about Sundays for this location. I let the store know but doubt anything will change.“
“Just AWSOME!!! Fast service. Friendly smiles. Our Donuts were still warm. Coffee was hot and fresh. They even hadcreql creamer for the coffee. Definitely recommend stop and get yourself a donut or even a dozen. Our granddaughter recommends their hot chocolate.“
“Just FYI for you panhandle folks, whilst talking/beatboxing with my close personal friend the late great Biggie Smalls, RIP *pours out a little bit of coffee and Jameson* when he said, “ if you don’t know, now you know” he said was talking about donut stop having the best donuts this side of Canada. Yepyep, so if you didn’t know well now you know. You’re welcome. (Oh and Don’t quote me boy I ain’t said spit???)“
“Support small businesses, especially this one.Glory-donut hole goodnessThe donuts are made the classic way of childhood nostalgia. They have an amazing machine that fills any donut with your choice of filling. I saw strawberry and Bavarian creme.I'll definitely be stopping here everytime I drive through Amarillo.“
