“We had a lovely lunch here on our way back from out-of-state and this place was conveniently located along our route. It was really beautiful outside with plenty of outdoor seating and lots of shade and mist to keep you cool. The small sandbox and picnic tables were a wonderful addition for families with children and we were able to let our dog stretch her legs as well. I really enjoyed the cherry honey lemonade and the strawberry salad. I don’t know what the salad dressing was but it was fantastic.”

“As a wedding photographer leaving a vendor review, I had the opportunity to photograph a smaller, intimate wedding at Bar Z Winery, and it was such a beautiful location for it! 🤍
One of my favorite things about this venue from a photographer’s perspective is THE VIEW. If you love the look of Palo Duro Canyon and the surrounding Texas landscape but don't necessarily want to leave your wedding venue and spend part of your day traveling for portraits, this location gives you the best of both worlds. We were able to step outside and create some absolutely gorgeous bride and groom portraits with those rolling hills, greenery, and canyon views right behind them. And when that golden-hour light starts coming through… 😍 It is BEAUTIFUL.

For a smaller wedding especially, I loved how intimate and relaxed the entire day felt. You have the indoor space for celebrating with your guests, while the large windows and outdoor areas allow you to still enjoy those incredible views throughout the evening. And as a photographer, I LOVE when we don't have to leave the property to give a couple variety in their gallery. We were able to photograph everything from the ceremony and reception to sunset bride and groom portraits all in one location. If you're planning a smaller or more intimate wedding and want those beautiful Palo Duro Canyon-inspired views without actually having to leave your venue for portraits, Bar Z Winery is definitely worth checking out. 🤍

“If you're hungry for pizza in Canyon, you HAVE to try La Bella Pizza. We got the jalapeno popper pizza and a pepperoni for our daughter. It was honestly some of the best pizza I've ever had. 🤤 They said they made their own dough, and it seriously made the PERFECT crust: slightly chewy with crispy edges. We may have to move to Canyon. 🤣”
