We stayed through Harvest Host. We were trying hard to get there before 7pm because that was closing time.. The owner had 3 Harvest host guests. The owner was there hosting and telling great stories. He stayed open late and was extremely accommodating!!! This allowed us to enjoy the view and great wine for a while before he closed. The wine is the best I have ever tasted.. The cabernet is EXCELLENT!!!

Bar Z Winery is a charming establishment known for its beautiful views and friendly staff. Located a short distance from the gateway, the winery offers a serene setting overlooking a canyon. Visitors can taste a flight or glass of their carefully crafted wines, including their unique Mourvedre variety. The knowledgeable sommeliers share insightful information about the wines, making the experience even more enjoyable. In addition to their excellent selection of wines, they also offer tasty flatbread pizzas.
Bar Z Winery is also a Harvest Host, allowing RV travelers to spend the night while enjoying their delicious wines. The wine is quite good, and the staff is equally good. The view is beautiful, as the winery has a view of the Palo Duro Canyon. Visitors can enjoy a great wine tasting in a relaxing atmosphere, and the winery is even pet-friendly. The owner is welcoming, and guests can purchase a bottle and a cork screw bottle opener to save the memory of their visit.
