Ugly customer service.I was here with many out of town coworkers, the majority prefer the Barfield. I came to socialize with a few staying here. After receiving poor service from a bartender with a horrible attitude and no focus on customer care we decided to gather at the Barfield.I witnessed other patrons receiving the same treatment. They verbally expressed that they had also had a long day of meetings and wanted to wind down. The bar tenders accommodation did not cature to a welcoming relaxing atmosphere that the Embassy strives for.I was over charged and treated as if my business was not welcomed there. I would not recommend this location.

Ordered room service. Got lemon pepper chicken lollipops; was delicious and the best out of everything we gotCubano: mediocre, came with seasoned fries. Bread was nice toasted and a good amount of whole grained mustard Classic cheese burger cooked medium: by the time it was brought up to our room of course covered it was well done.Fries with short ribs: ok, ribs needs more flavorThey do need a pasta option though. They do have a chicken Alfredo pizza which I thought was pasta but is not. Over all , next time I'd walk around to find something else. No pics this time. Sorry for that yall.

Pretty good food and service. Was odd being the only ones seated in the restaurant, despite that, service was fairly prompt and drinks were delicious. The music playing was pretty hip and nice. Would eat at again if staying at the hotel once more. definitely a plus being able to take drinks up to the room!

First time eating at 1887 Social House and the food and service was spot on. Drinks from the bar were perfect and let just say after the good food and drinks, well I slept like a baby.

woefully inadequate.they served me well-done prime rib.it was quite obviously overcooked, dried out, and grey but they put it on a plate and served it anyway.do I really need to say more?

My wife and I are staying at the Embassy Suites during our mini-stay here in Amarillo and didn't feel like going out trying to find a restaurant so we decided on this in-house restaurant. We were promptly seated and our server was friendly. My wife ordered the Texas Hot Chick sandwich and I opted for the classic Burger. Both sandwiches were served on a brioche bun and came with fries. Those were delicious crispy hot fries that were seasoned just right. I took a bite of my wife's sandwich and it was delicious and flavorful and she thoroughly enjoyed it. My burger with pepper Jack cheese was so good and as I said earlier, the fries were oh-so good . Needless to say we scarfed our food down. We left just enough room for dessert and selected the chocolate lava cake work ice-cream. It was so good and rich. They don't have dessert on the menu so you need to ask what they offer. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and our server was the best. We would highly recommend this restaurant

Checked into hotel, was told the restaurant was closing, but that we could order room service.Ordered and paid, went to our room. 40 minutes later, still no food. Called down, was told they never got the order.Staff was rude and unhelpful.

My goodness. Fine dining prices with less than applebee's quality. Clearly understaffed, undertrained, and overpriced. Will not be returning. Reluctantly paid the bill and tipped the waitress. Cutting my losses and never returning to this hotel.
After eating here with my family, we determined it was the worst dining experience we had ever had! Other than the friendly server, everything else was terrible. Food took 2 hours to come out and when it did it was cold and bland. The server tried to get the manager to come talk to us because of how bad thing were and he would not do it. We stayed again at the embassy suites a week later but would never try to eat there again!

This place is so bad! I was staying at the hotel and was too tired to venture out so I decided to give it a whirl. Huge mistake. I ordered a glass of red wine - they brought me white and told me the wine I ordered was “all out”. For dinner I ordered the Caesar salad - when they brought it out it was romaine lettuce with a couple flakes of cheese - no dressing - they were “all out”. I ordered the caprese pizza and when it came out it was just a cheese pizza with some tomatoes and balsamic glaze on top….When I asked about the fresh basil, the waitress said “oh he forgot” and brought me dried basil - not fresh. Honestly, the service is awful, the food is sad. Don’t waste your time and money.

Literally eat ANYWHERE else. Waited forever for food. When it came out, it came out in 10 minute waves. Some of our group didn't have food for 30 minutes after others.Waitress rude and took forever to get anything done.Food just OK and expensive.Never again. That waitress needs to find another job. No customer service skills at all.

I got in room dining at the Embassy. The food was fantastic and they delivered it to the room in 25 minutes. We got a pizza, sweet potato fries and their bacon bit brussel sprouts. It was great. Don’t let the bad reviews scare you off. Our in room dining service was amazing.
