We went on a mid Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere was relaxed, not too loud. It is VERY spacious, so you're not having to talk too loud to be heard. The chips for the appetizer were cold, I couldn't taste any salt on them. The "hot sauce" just tasted like tomato sauce. It took forever to get our food, at least a solid 30 mins. I ordered the Volcan, it was nice n bubbling hot but it didn't have much flavor. It was really bland. The corn tortillas weren't very warm. Our waitress was super friendly and helpful. I would probably eat there again, IF someone else was paying. If you can't have or can't handle spicy foods this place is for you. It would be a nice date place. Very family friendly, they have nice big tables available if you've got a big family/group. They have a separate bar area with a TV.

I was in Amarillo only for a few hours and a business owner on that street recommended them. While the outdoor area (inside it's very nice) could use some TLC, the food and service was outstanding! If you find yourself in that area and crave authentic Mexican food, you can't go wrong with Braceros!

We had a party of 20 and our server was great. Kept our drinks full, food was out at a reasonable time. The food was good. Especially the fajitas.

Decent Mexican food, great for the price. Salsa is good, did not try any drinks. Shredded cheese they use for fajitas is phenomenal.

Worst restaurant experience my wife and I ever had. The hostess acted like we were a nuisance when we walked in. She sat us at a huge table for six when tables for two were available. We sat there for over 20 minutes waiting on a waitress to acknowledge us; but we were ignored while people around us were being waited upon. Finally we got up to leave because it was embarrassing to be ignored. I would not recommend this restaurant because they all acted like they do not value their customers.

it was such a great place to go and enjoy a meal! We enjoy their food at the other location but this was our first time downtown. We had great food, and music for entertainment, and Carlos was super great as our waiter.

Our server was friendly and accommodating. I e been wanting to try TexMex food. Today was my chance. Coming from San Diego, where Mexican food is greatly influenced by Baja style cooking, my family is picky. I’m so glad I convinced them to give Braceros a try. I could taste the regional difference. I enjoyed the subtle nuances.

Fajita Tacos... just the name "fajita" says onion, peppers, cheese, sour cream, pico... nope! All you get is meat and onions on a dry tortilla. I mean...WTH? Stop selling it as fajita tacos... call it what it is... meat and onion taco. Won't buy this again, don't recommend.

Good Mexican good and really cold beer. They get pretty busy on the weekends but they get you in pretty fast. They have a large bar you can sit at as well.

The food and service have been on point for each visit. They are in walking distance of the hotel we stayed in and one of two restaurants that are open on Sundays in the area. The service is exceptional. The only downside is pesky flies. The alternative exit door was open, and we dealt with a fly our entire visit last night.

Very slow service, food was terrible. I ordered the seafood enchiladas, and the fish inside was so over cooked it was dry and crunchy. They charged way more than pricing on the menu and did not even have the item we went there for. Save your money and frustration by choosing somewhere else to go.

Wow great Mexican food restaurant. After several trips to many different regions of Mexico, what a delight to find so many plates that remind me of those trips. Definitely recommend. ?

Absolutely a top-notch experience. I went there for lunch today because I hadn't ever been to this location. My server, Natasha, was as sweet and friendly and helpful as could be. I got the Nopales with a lamb chop on the side and both were delicious. Monday through Thursday they have a house Margarita for $2 but it was double that or more on the weekends so I skipped the drink and just enjoyed my food. Their chips and salsa are among my favorite especially the salsa. They have daily specials on the weekdays.
