Very friendly staff who explained dishes and kindly threw in a delicious dessert! The chicken shawarma wrap and falafel platter with hummus and babaganoush sides were terrific. We loved the chai and the falafel were super soft and fresh. Strong recommend and definite plans to return as often as we can!

We were starving and searching for something good to eat, and this spot did not disappoint. We ordered the Chicken Mandi, Chicken Shawarma, and Falafel — everything was absolutely delicious.

We honestly haven’t had food this good in a long time. Totally worth every dollar!
The lady there was incredibly kind and even offered us complimentary chai and date biscuits. The chai was so good that I had to order another one along with a box of date cookies before continuing our trip.

Noticed a falafel and shawarma joint in the parking lot of the hotel I was staying at. I stopped by to see whether they use pita or saaj (saaj, the correct option) and who grinds their falafel (they do).

The wrap was on amazing, the falafel was on perfectly crispy and amazing.

If this was in my neighborhood it would be on heavy rotation.

Babylon Mediterranean Food deserves five stars. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can feel the care they put into every detail. The food was unbelievably fresh and flavorful. The falafel was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the hummus and sides tasted homemade. Everything was prepared with obvious pride and quality. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Mediterranean food. I will absolutely be coming back.

My expectations have been exceeded. We are from Los Angeles and we are big on Mediterranean food. Honestly they are better than any other place I have tried even in LA. I am now addicted and so grateful they are in town!

I ordered four plates from them today.

Everything was delicious! I especially enjoyed the beef shawarma over rice with hummus. The proprietors were friendly and accommodating. I’m excited to make this place our go-to for Mediterranean food in Amarillo.

I just have to share my experience with Babylon Food Truck in Amarillo — this place is absolutely amazing! The food is authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, full of flavor, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Every bite tastes like it was made with love.

But what really makes Babylon special is the owner. I’m a truck driver, and one night I was running late and called him after he had already closed. Instead of telling me to come back another day, he said, “Don’t worry, I’ll bring you the food.” And he really did — two hours after closing, he personally brought my order all the way to the gas station where I was parked. That kind of kindness and dedication is rare these days.

If you’re in Amarillo, don’t miss Babylon Food Truck. Great food, great people, and true hospitality. Highly recommend!
