-10 Stars. SCAMMERS. CROOKED. They are altering the receipts after the guests leave & management is on it. My waitress Arely S added $10 to her tip. We left an appropriate tip based on the fact that Arely NEVER checked on us, refilled our drinks, or even brought our food. She sat at a dining room table on her phone or chatting up her coworkers. My writing is very legible so I know it was not a mistake reading what the tip was. I've called the manager 3 times & he refuses to speak to me which is why I believe he's in on the SCAM. I reported the theft to the Amarillo Police Department and the restaurant has refused to speak with her. The restaurant staff hung up on the Detective twice. Food was subpar & lacked all flavor. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Get the PLATO!!! You will not be disappointed.

The smell of grilled meats will hit you hard when you walk in, so if you love it, you'll be in heaven, but you will leave smelling like a bit of smoke which I didn't mind a bit.
Nico was our server, great guy who was attentive throughout the meal. There were 5 of us, including one child.
The only drinks listed on the menu are the beers, but they do have a full bar as well. I got a spicy bloody mary, which was very salty but good. Large draft beers were $6 and they could do the dressed, good selection of Mexican beers.
They bring pitchers of salsa and the chips are good. The queso wasn't great, but I suspect the flameado would have been a better choice.
We got the molcajete, the asada was just fantastic, super tender and flavorful. Everyone enjoyed the shrimp, the nopales were flavorful and well cooked. I wasn't wild about the rice and beans, but others enjoyed the rice in particular. The guac was very good.
We got the parillada which was unique and I was blown away by the quality. The cabrito, fajitas, and adobada were excellent. High quality meats, not a lot of gristle, incredibly well seasoned and absolutely delicious. I had added quail to it and it was, hands down, the best quail I've had anywhere.
The sides could use a little work, but if you're coming here for the meat, you will not be disappointed.

Went here with family and can say it was good. Best hot sauce in town! I wouldn't recommend the beef fajita enchiladas, but I would say the enchiladas are good. The corn tortillas tasted fresh, and the chili con carne was also delicious. I will say don't be dumb like me and assume popular beers are on tap. Your waiter or waitress will tell you if you ask. I didn't care for the flavor of the beef fajita, but I was surprised my food was hot, not room temperature, and tasted fresh. If you are from Amarillo or just traveling old Route 66, this should be a must try for Tex-Mex. I will definitely be back.
Parking: Not a lot of parking so you may have to park nearby in front of other buildings or residences and walk.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is located on the first floor and has street or parking lot access. Not the easiest to enter with a wheelchair, but once you get in, they will accommodate you.

Extensive menu with many dishes not seen at most Mexican restaurants. The food was presented nicely, served hot, and very tasty. Our waitress was attentive and very friendly and helpful. And enjoyable place to enjoy good Mexican food with friends and family!

Honestly I used to come to this place a lot but this past experience was HORRIBLE! the high chairs were not tall enough for the tables and none of the straps worked, the server obviously didn’t care to give us quality service and I’m not sure if it’s a race factor or her just having a bad day. But there were 0 drink refills, 0 napkins, 0 how is everything, do you need anything? The food took forever and the chicken was subpar at best. Sad to see this place go down the drain and nobody care. Afterwards my grandmother went to tell somebody that the highchairs were all broken and if they would let a manager know because it’s dangerous and they responded saying “I won’t make any promises”! 00000 STARS save your $$ and time and go elsewhere.
