This place used to be hands down one of the best burger places in town. But the last severaltimes the food was incorrect, and i kept having to ask for positions of our order over and over again at the drive through window. Not sure what the issue was, because they read the order back correctly after I told them what I wanted. Not sure if we’ll be going back….and it’s a shame too!

We used to live in Amarillo and LOVED Buns Over Texas. The BEST burgers! We always come eat at buns when we are in town and it never disappoints…..except this last visit. While the burgers were still great the toppings bar has gone way down hill!! There used to be shredded lettuce, finely diced red onion, and dill pickle stackers which elevated the great burgers to NEXT LEVEL. Those details is one of the things that set them apart from any other burger joint. There was none of that this time. The toppings bar was basic and sparse to be honest. We were so sad and disappointed. It was not what we had been anticipating and waiting 6 hours for!

Guy at the window was impatient, slow & rude. Took 10 min just to take my order then when I finally made it to the window I waited another 20 min & he never once opened the window took my pmt or acknowledged me. He seemed more preoccupied making a large order for the guy behind me. I finally just drove off after losing 30 min of my life I'll never get back.

I’ve been there quite a few times and I went there tonight and honestly it wasn’t too bad. There were some mistakes made with our order but they were fixed and the food was good. The food tasted like a hard working high schooler saving up for their first car or place made it.

So good! And reasonable price too, all meals were under $15 which is hard to find! The grilled chicken sandwich was tasty, the cheesy tator tots are the best… crispy even after they sit!!! Chili is available to top the fries and tots, and that was just meat but well seasoned! The hamburgers are great quality beef but need a dash of seasoning (they do have a toppings bar). Tried the country fried steak sandwich, unexpectedly delicious….. The dessert fried bread bites were mind blowing!!Staff friendly, and efficient with several people.Will keep coming back!!!!
Great food, but very poor customer service. The employees they had working this evening did not say sorry for getting my drink wrong they didn’t say “have a good day”. They didn’t ask if I need anything else. All I got was a lecture about there drive up procedures. I spent good money here this evening only to drive away feeling like a piece of trash. I was shocked!
