When I tell yall, best chicken friend steak I’ve ever had. Taste like I make them at home. Thank you to our waitress Bailey who suggested it she was great with our table and suggest great items off the menu! You’re the best Bailey thank again

Service was excellent food was phenomenal and prices are okay 3 people can eat on 40.00 and if any thing like me can make 2 meals out of it so that's even better. Thank you so much. Chicken fried steak is hand breaded best we ever had. We will be back. Highly recommend. Was recommended by our neighbor so we will recommend as well.

Amazing food and service, we sat at the bar with Kaylee and had it to ourselves, she was great!

Tried it after church. Service was terrible. Food was real slow and tasteless. Very disappointed. No need to say more.

Hands down the best breakfast I've ever had at a restaurant! Worth every penny.

The waitress needs an attitude adjustment, absolute no reason to treat new customers the way she did. We haven’t been there since before they made the change, and weren’t sure how the menu works and we were very confused. But the waitress just snapped at us for no reason. At the end I just left and told her we will go somewhere else to eat.

This used to be our go-to place when coming to Amarillo (we’re from Lubbock and come up for hiking at Palo Duro). Yesterday (Saturday) was our first time coming back since the renovation/re-opening.

Firstly, there was no direction for customers about the flow of the restaurant. Do we seat ourselves? Wait to be seated? Order at the counter? No clue!
Eventually, a hurried server came out and when we said this was our first time here since the renovation, his spiel was essentially: “We don’t do anything like we used to. We don’t serve brunch anymore. Have you ever been to [this better restaurant] in Dallas?”

The menu was very disappointing: Do you want half a chicken, or half a chicken? Do you want fried chicken or fried fish?

What we loved about Butterlove Biscuits was the variety of flavors and offerings on the menu!
This is just another chicken restaurant. In West Texas, chicken restaurants are as abundant as churches, dust, and tumbleweeds. The old Butterlove was something new and fun! This is boring and overdone ?

Run, don’t walk to this delightful restaurant. We were in Amarillo to visit family and friends and they brought us here for dinner on Friday evening. First of all the atmosphere is so cute and charming. The food was outstanding and portions generous. And the service could not have been better. They very kindly let us linger and talk after dinner giving us plenty of space while still occasionally checking on us and refilling drinks. Both owners stopped by and chatted also and added to a wonderful experience.

I review a lot of places and was pretty excited because this is close to my house. We went in a Thursday night around 6 and it honestly seemed to be in disarray. Not many tables but there was no hostess and we were told by the three waitresses who were obviously working hard to keep up that they’d be with us soon. It didn’t take long and we were seated.

Nice farmhouse sheek style. Then we saw the menu…

There are 5 proteins I think all fried. Chicken fried steak, fried chicken, I think a fried fish. Honestly, my eyes were focused on the price tag. $23 a person! Yes the sides come family style but come on. Drinks are $2.50. For me and my two boys that would be over $80 before tip. There were some options to share and one person on get sides, but the sticker price was enough to make us leave.

I don’t mind paying $30 a head, but not for fried food. You can’t set the ambiance of “when you’re here you’re home” and then momma leaves a bill under the door like the Hilton.

If I can give any stars to be honest I would give (0) especially for Staff, including Management who interviewed me name (Holly).
I had a interview on Sun Nov 10th and when I entered the doors I was approached with a older guy holding a chief shirt and asked me, "Can I help you?" I replied, "I'm here for a interview with Holly." He stared at me as he looked up and down on what I was wearing. Holly came out around the corner and I introduced myself as I shook her hand, I then followed her down into the dinner room table and while we went towards a table she turned her head over and looked at her Staff member who was behind a counter while that staff member gave her some kind of stare before we sat down.
Holly then continued our interview conversation with questions which I answered every single one in a professional way,
There was one question which made me think because I was puzzled and that question was;
"WOULD YOU BE OKAY IF WE WOULD PAY YOU CASH IF YOU WORK HERE?"
With that being said;

1. Why would a manager ask that question unless they thought I was a immigrant.
2. It's illegal in Texas for any company to suggest that.

Holly told me she liked our interview and told me she'll get a hold of her owners and get back to me at 3pm, Later that day I didn't hear anything at 3pm so I called and Holly said she hasn't been able to talk to her owners yet but I will hear back from her no matter what today.
I checked on the status of my application/interview process and at 10:24pm Holly messaged me stating this,

"Sorry for getting back to you so late, We have already filled the position, but I appreciate you checking up and wish you the best."

One thing about being a (Professional Manager) whoever has a Title and Responsibilities would know how to talk and deal with a interview process but today that was 100% UNPROFESSIONAL that approach with the experience I went through today Sun 10th at 8am - 10:30pm is with a (Unprofessional Person) and was uncalled for.
If anyone tries to respond back from the company, I will save you the trouble by saying this, "Don't reply back trying to apologize and offering a free homemade slice of pie I'll decline and Thank you.
