The best butcher shop in Amarillo also has tasty food to eat there or take away. I recommend the green chile la barbacoa. The red chile sincerely. Everything is very tasty and beer to your liking.

Wow, this place has a little bit of everything. The Carnicera (meat market) is awesome. They have a great selection of groceries and a little restaurant that looks amazing. Great service.

Had a bad experience with whoever was managing some lady I didn't even get her name. She was very rude and I guess she didn't know I understood Spanish she was talking about me all because I asked the butcher to cut some meat for me to make tacos. I could understand if he they were short handed but I was literally the only one there and the butcher was going to cut it but she denied him his service especially how bad the economy is right now. I wont be going back there anymore after that experience.

Amazing Mexican bbq (barbacoa) and well made too. Not like other places that leave in debry and add nonsense like sour cream. Just authentic and simple onion and cilantro, simple and authentic. (Think food truck) I tried the Chile rojo burritos and was also delicious. Sadly overlooked because it’s kind of hidden but better then Lupita’s over rated and over priced burritos. It’s a full Mexican butcher/grocery store. Highly recommend.

Theres a small resturant area in the rear of the store, with the best pozole I've had in a while, the meat was very tender. The rice and beans along with the birria tacos were also very good. The tortilla chips they have are very crunchy although could be salted more consistently some had a good amount of salt others not so much.Staff was friendly even though we took a while to decide on our order.
